"That's cool! What kind of stuff are you into writing about?"
Anybody up for a romance one-on-one roleplay?
"Um..realistic fiction mostly."
"Could I read it sometime? I do some writing myself but it's for songs so it's doesn't make sense half the time." Eve laughed again. "But I would love to read your writing if you'd be alright with that." She smiled
"Only if you let me hear your music." He said, smiling over at her.
"It's not that great, but deal." She agreed, smiling up at him as they continued to walk to their classes.
"Well, see you, I guess." He went to his class and sat down, still smiling.
"See you around." Eve put her earbuds in and pressed play on her phone as she continued down the sidewalk until she got to her class. She walked in and sat down next to one of her band mates, smiling and blushing.
Kai met his girlfriend half way through the day(im just gonna call her cara). Just break up with her already. He told himself as they walked to lunch. "Um..so..Cara. I think…we.." She glanced over at him. "What?" He didn't meet her gaze. "I think we should break up." He said quickly. She laughed a little coldly. "I knew it. It's that girl, isn't it. I've seen you with her." His eyes widened. "No that's not, no!" She stopped walking and glared at him. "I hope you're happy together." Cara walked away fast, leaving Kai staring at her back.
Eve finished her classes and walked to her band mate's(i'm gonna call her Isobel) house to continue writing the song she was working on and practice their other songs. "So, I'm gonna head out early. I have some homework to finish up and I have to get to work soon. I'll see you guys later." She waved goodbye and began her walk back to her dorm.
Kai continued to stand speechless even after Cara had left. He spotted Eve walking to the dorms but kept his head down.
Eve was so submerged in the music coming from her earbuds that she didn't even see Kai. She continued on her way and went up the stairs into her dorm room to change for work.
Kai walked back up to his dorm. He wasn't sad really, just in disbelief that Cara thought he was cheating on her.
Eve walked out of her dorm and almost ran into Kai again. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked, noticing his forlorn face.
"It's nothing. Just leave me alone." He muttered, walking into the building and slamming the door behind him.
"Okay." Eve sighed and began her walk to work, no longer in a happy mood.
Kai watched Eve walk away from his window upstairs. He didn't want anything to happen yet. It would just make him feel bad and make Cara even more mad then she already was.
Eve walked into work, put on her apron, and grabbed a notepad to begin taking orders. She rushed around the diner, bringing out drinks, hot food, and taking more orders. Her shift was already starting to get busy as the time got closer and closer to the dinner rush.
Kai walked outside and sat down under a tree. His eyes were a little red from crying as he stared up into the branches. It was going to be nice. He thought. A nice break up, we could've still been friends.
After her shift, Eve wasn't really sure if she wanted to run into Kai again just yet for fear of upsetting him more, so she waked back to Isobel's house to hang out for a little bit.
I have to tell Eve. He thought, standing up and walking over to the dorms. He knocked on her door.
(because im not really sure how he knows where it is but he does in a not creepy way)
When Eve got to Isobel's house, she wasn't home, so Eve walked back to her dorm, trying to avoid where she knew she'd seen Kai. She really didn't want to upset him again.
Kai didn't hear an answer so he sat down next to the door and brought his knee up to his chest and set his head on it.
Eve finally made it to her dorm and saw Kai sitting by her door. "Hello? Kai? What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asked once she saw him, suddenly getting worried.
Kai stood up quickly. "Hey um well..I just wanted to tell you that Cara just broke up with me because she thought I was cheating on her with..you. And that really.. hurt me, so If there was anything going on here, let's just hold off for now please."
(also fun little thing that I almost forgot to tell you..I am leaving for Florida tomorrow and not coming back until next Friday..sorry. :p
(okay, have fun! :) )
Eve backed away from him, suddenly feeling upset at his words. "You're probably right. I shouldn't have bothered you so much this week. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you both." She sighed dejectedly before quickly brushing past him and unlocking her dorm room door. She slipped inside and shut the door, not feeling much like talking anymore.
Kai stood there for a moment, his head down and his hands in his pockets. You just threw away something that could've been great you idiot. He thought angrily.
(btw he was calling himself an idiot not eve)
(Okay, thanks for the clarification 😂)
Eve laid on her bed and looked up at the ceiling, feeling sad, but she wasn't sure why. After all, she had only know Kai for just a few short days.
On an instinct, Kai raised his hand to the door about to knock, about to tell Eve that they could be something if she wanted.
