I shuffled out of my dorm room, still half-asleep, and went into the community pantry. Without really caring for which flavor I got my hands on, I grabbed a Ramen cup.

"Hmm, Spicy Beef," I said to no one in particular and I made myself a cup of the typical college staple. Blearily, I made my way back into my room and I fired up my computer. My roommate grumbled something in her sleep and I couldn't help but look at her wistfully. She had everything I wanted, she was asleep and did not have a huge term paper looming over her head.

I moved to grab my Ramen and some of the hot water spilled on my leg. "Mothe-!" yelped before remembering where and when I was.

Well, at least I was fully awake now. It was 3 am and I had roughly 4 hours to finish this paper.

I was three paragraphs in when my phone chimed and I couldn't help but wonder who on earth was texting me at this ungodly hour.

I shot her a glare and if it wasn't for the fact that it was my fault that she was was awake, I would have thrown a pillow at her. "Asshat," I muttered as I turned back to my screen. I was going to need to buy her some ear plugs.

(Tayah is pretty shy and willing to help anyone, and very easy to talk to about problems BTW)
Tayah shot up in bed at the loud noises from across the hall, she was confused, this was her first year at college and wasn't sure if this was normal or not. Carefully she got out of bed, brushed her hair, and quietly opened the door. Tayah didn't want to wake her roomie, Samuel. Knocking on the door across the hall, she said shyly, "Is…is everything okay in there? It's pretty early and I didn't know if this was normal or not…"

Sam woke up when he heard a noise, he saw his roommate get up and walk out. I should probably see whats going on. But, im lazy. he thinks and reluctantly gets out of bed, he walks to the kitchen area of the dorm and starts t make some Ramen.
