Slyvastor opened his eyes when she pecked his nose and grinned back gently. “Good idea. It’ll take them months. We can go up if you’d like.”
Kris gets out of Keri’s room and tries to sneak downstairs to see what’s for dinner.
Kris sees that Hunter is gone and steps out of the closet. He then awkwardly shuffled around. “Umm. Thanks.”
"your welcome, also you owe me." she yelled at kris as he walked out of her room.
"All right." Lake grins. She gave him a quick kiss, before grabbing the rope and yanking it, opening the trapdoor. She pulled over a ladder and scrambled up it. When she reached the top she pulled out a spray bottle. She aimed around Sylvastor and shot a stream of water at the lantern, making it hiss and sputter out. "I love doing that." She sniffs the air. "I can smell dinner!" Her stomach growled.
Slyvastor carefully climbed the ladder and sat down with an exhale. He shut the trapdoor once she extinguished the lamp and he grinned.
“It smells amazing. Let’s go up!”
Kris in his attempt to go downstairs goes down a little too enthusiastically.
Meaning he tripped at the top most stair and tumbled all the way down.
Keri walked out of her room just in time to see Kris fall down the stairs, she bursted out laughing and almost fell down the stairs herself, catching herself just in time.
Lake grabbed Sylvastor’s hand and practically sprinted up the stairs to the kitchen, looking around for Tom. “Hey Tom?” She called out. She turned and winked at Sylvastor, dropping his hand.
"Yes Lake?"
“Need any help? Or are we too late?” She hopped a couple times.
Keri stumbled down the stairs and continued to laugh at Kris' fall.
Lake turned towards thumping on the stairs. “Are you okay?!” She heard Keri’s laugh. “Keri?”
Keri looked up at Lake "yeah?" she continued to laugh, because she couldn't stop.
Kris just lays on the floor face down. Groaning in pain. A bit of blood was trickling from his forehead.
Lake’s eyes widened at the sight of blood, she rushed over to Kris. “Oh my gods! Kris!” She kneeled next to him. She gently put her hand on his arm. “Kris, come on, let’s get you cleaned up.” She turned to Sylvastor. “Help me. Can you get him to a bathroom and wash his cut out? I’m gonna get some stuff.”

Keri turned to Lake and Kris and saw he was bleeding, she gasped and kneeled on the other side of Kris, thinkng to herself oh no,oh no,oh no.
(Yeah. Lately she’s been threatening to move out on us.)
"Called it." Hunter yelled as he walked into the kitchen.
(yup, that threat has been said quite a lot here….)

(I’m half surprised she hasn’t walked out yet. I think the only thing keeping her here is her idea that marriage is forever, (which should be true) and all our pets she thinks would die without her.)

(Mmm… well. Maybe if Emi makes Sylvastor take Kris into the bathroom to clean up, Kris can “interrogate” him? I think it’d be a bit of a plot twist if the thickest-seeming character gets to the point of Sylvastor + Lake first. Ooh! We need a ship name!)
