Jessica went to sit down on the couch but missed and sat on the floor.

"Are you okay?" He asked, sitting down on the couch.

'Yeah I'm good" Jessica said still sitting on the floor not bothering to move.

"Okay then," Max replied and sat down on the floor next to her.

Jessica looked down at her lap as she smiled to herself.

Max fiddled with the hem of his shirt for no reason. "Soooo….." He started awkwardly.

Jessica's mother spoke " So you will be moving in with Max and you'll be moving to your old town".

"Okay then."

Jessica sighed and looked at her feet

Max sighed and fiddled with the end of his shirt, his ADD kicking in.

"Now were going to leave so you two can talk" Jessica's parent's said.

"Oh, um, okay then."

Jessica turned toward Max.

"Soooooooooo," He started awkwardly.

Jessica giggled at Max's awkwardness.

Max blushed in embarrassment and looked away.

"sorry" she said and looked down.

"Wha?"

""I didn't mean to embarras" you she ssaid.

"You didn't embarrass me at all." He replied.

"Then why'd you look away" she asked.

"I'm confused." Max said, not sure what she was talking about.
