Blaine's phone buzzed twice, and she looked at the screen to see messages from Venus and Brendon. She responded to Venus's first, only because she had texted before Brendon.
BLAINE: I'm working on homework, sorry. What'chu up to?
Next, she replied to Brendon, smiling at his text.

VENUS: Um… staying overnight in a hospital only because I got here around 5 or 6 and they just want to monitor me for the rest of the night, so not much. Hbu?
