Ender headed to the couch where Venus was. "Are you ready to go? The stores close soon."
Venus blinked and stood up. "Yeah. Sure," she replied in a voice that was so strained, it didn't sound like her own. She cleared her throat embarrassedly. He'd moved on from her, but why couldn't she move on from him?
"Alright." Ender bit his lip. Why do I feel compassion for everyone….
"My car or yours?" She decided just to keep things simple.

"If we weren't going on a walk, I'd say we should follow them and 'help'," Blaine said with a shrug.
