Ender brushed the hair away from her face and smiled a little. The feel of her lips against his was the only thing he needed.

(Ok) Venus felt Ender smile a little wave of excitement kicked in. She was happy. She was content. She was peaceful.

Ender broke away. "I love you."

Venus was afraid that if she touched this perfect moment too much with her stained hands, that it would become tarnished, so she whispered back, quietly, "I love you too."

He hugged her. "I should probably go now." He kissed her again, then stood and ran out the door.
