I think she can walk just fine. If you hold her more people are likely to look. It'll draw attention. A change of clothes and a hat would be fine, but looking at the ground sheepishly and all weird would draw attention too. I say she just tries to make conversation with us, and keep her face turned."
Clovis nods. "It's obvious when people try to hard."
What makes her think I can walk!!? Claire sighed. “I guess that can work then. Don’t complain when I start wincing and whatnot…. but I think making a camp would be a good idea to help me get dressed up….”
Dare looked towards the other two. "I think it's a good idea, but where the heck did Apollyon go?"
“I think she said she wanted to take a walk….” Claire said quietly. At least I think that’s what she said….. She yawned, covering her mouth politely.

He looks around again before sighing and heading that way.

Molly bites the inside of her lip, looking at Claire's ankle.
"I mean, the apocalypse did like just happen. It's not uncommon for people to have wounds. I'm sure you limping and Dare helping you walk wont be too noticeable."

Clovis heads the way he spied Apollyon leaving and picks up the pace the farther he gets from the group.
The city's not far. What if someone found her?
He ends up running in the forest and, unlike in the movies, trips quite a few times.
He stops eventually and sighs.
Think. You don't know which way she went. What's something she'll hear?
He squeezes his eyes shut.
A whistle. I'd whistle for Emry. She'd always hear it.
He opens his eyes, squinting up at the sky and remembering their tune. 5 notes, simple and pretty. He lets out a loud, simple whistle.
Agh, that didn't sound right. I'll have to work on it.

Molly looks over Claire, then opens her bag, handing out a sandwich for each person.
"Here. We'll eat and then get Claire ready. By then Clovis should have App back here."
Claire took two sandwiches – one for herself and one for Dare. "Sounds good to me…" Gosh…. I just hope I don't injure myself further by doing this… Who knows how much walking on a broken ankle will hurt… She took a small bite of her own food.
App perked up from stalking a deer when she heard a whistle of five notes. 'What? That's not a bird…' She dropped back to four legs and flew through the woods, heading where she heard the sound. She skidded to a stop a couple yards away from Clovis, looking completely feral with her fangs and claws and on all four legs.
Dare didn't eat. He jus stared at his sandwich. "Claire, I don't really want you to walk, but I want to make sure you're still okay with me carrying you still."
“That’s fine… as long as we don’t do it for too long….” Claire waved his sandwich around him. “And I do want you to eat. I have plenty, and you have to eat something before we go inside.” And before App comes back…
Dare nodded and bit into the bread, keeping an eye on the woods off to the side, watching for either App or Clovis.
