"So what exactly will we be working on?" Seraphina tried not to sound nervous.
Romantic One on One? [CLOSED]
"We file stuff, take spreadsheets, count numbers. All the fun stuff." He said with a tone of sarcasm.
"Sounds like a lot of fun." Sera sighed. "I'm just gonna say what we're both thinking. This is really awkward. Do you wanna go out to lunch or something later? Ya know, to break the ice? It will be much better to work together when it's.. less awkward."
"I mean, I was planning to pop home and change during my lunch break. Maybe tonight or tomorrow?" He sat back down.
"Tonight works." She wrung her hands and looked around. "And the changing, that makes perfect sense I mean why wouldn't you change?" Nervous laughter. "Here's my phone number so we can work together better. I better get to work now." Sera forced a smile, and walked out of the room.
(I've gtg, I should be on tomorrow though.)
"Right. If you need any help, you know where I am." He called after her. He typed her number into his phone and texted her 'Hi, it's Nathan.' so she'd have his.

Sera's head pounded. She put her fingers to her temples and thought hard. She knew this would be awkward, but despite everything she had a little bit of a crush on this guy. "What to do what to do…" She muttered.
Nate got back to work but in the back of his mind, he was thinking about meeting her tonight. For some reason that he couldn't quite place, he wanted to impress her.
Sera saw the text and answered back quickly. "Hi Nathan."
Nate heard his phone buzz and looked down at, "You can just call me Nate." He responded.
"Oh okay. If that's the case, you can call me Sera. It's easier anyway." She smiled to herself subconsciously.
"Okay. Where do you want to go tonight?" He quickly texted.
"I could always order pizza or something if you want to go to someplace more private and focus better." Sera worried she had made a mistake but hit send anyway.
He debated what to send before settling on, "You could come over to my place, I've got Netflix."
"Sounds great." Sera smiled and released a breath she didn't even realize she was holding.
"Well, I should get back to work. I'll text you the address later." He smiled. That went well, He thought to himself.
"Yep. Bye for now." Sera set her phone down and got back to work.
Nate worked until his lunch break. He left his office and walked over to reception to sign out.
Sera went to the break room and ate the sandwich she had made for herself then went back to work. She was extremely bored…
Nate got back to his home and got changed into clean clothes, throwing the stained ones into the wash. He drove back to work and continued doing his job, waiting for the end of the day.
After what seemed like forever, the day ended. Sera walked out to the front desk and signed out. She waved to Nate when she saw him coming out of his office as well. "See you later!"
"Yeah," Nate smiled, nodding. He signed out and got into his car. He got home and texted her his address, "Come over about 7?"
"I'll be there." Sera responded when she got home. She changed into something a little nicer and less work like. Then about an hour later she drove over to the address. Locking her car, she walked up and rang the doorbell.
Nate opened the door, now dressed in something more casual. "Hey," He greeted.
"Hey." Sera waved. She felt her face start to turn a little red and looked down at her feet.
"Come in," He moved to let her past, smiling politely "You look nice."
"Thanks." She looked him in the eyes. "You too."
