Charlie woke up to his alarm blaring, he shut it off and lazily got up and went to the washroom. He showered and brushed his teeth then threw on a dark grey long sleeve with a black jacket and his usual jeans. Jekyll came running in, leash in mouth. "Yeah I know" He laughed at the dog clipping the leash onto his blue collar and went brought him outside to do dog things. After returning Jekyll and locking up he left off to the subway to head to work

Grace woke up to Prince licking her face. How did his adorable heart but and shirt legs get on my bed? "Hanna! It's your turn to take Prince out!" Hanna walked into the room, black and green hair sticking up.

Charlie walked down the sidewalk and popped in his earbuds, blocking out the sounds of the busy streets and people around him with an upbeat melody

Grace quickly had a shower, got changed and had a bite to eat. She hugged Hanna, still with her hair sticking up, bopped Prince on the nose and walked out of her apartment. She grabbed a coffee from her fave place and head towards the subway.

Charlie walked down the steps into the subway and waited for the train to arrive, unconsciously nodding his head slightly to the music as he watched a train blur by from where he stood near the tracks

(subconsciously. Unconsciously would mean that he was essentially asleep)
Grace sipped her coffee, secretly hoping the blue haired boy would be there again.

Charlie subconsciously nodded his head to the music and stopped and discretely looked around, wondering hopefully if the chocolate eyed girl would be there

Grace sipped her coffee and could feel her hair slowly curling as it dried. A text came through on her phone from Hanna.
Hanna: PRINCE POOED ON MY BED AGAIN!
Grace: Not my problem. I've got work.
Hanna: HE'S YOUR DOG!
Grace: 🤗😜

Charlie waited as the train he had to take slowed to a stop in front of him, when the doors opened he got on and stood at one of the poles near the front of the cart when he felt his phone buzzing in his pocket, it was his boss although he's a pretty laid back guy. he unplugged his earbuds and answered
"Hello"
"Hi Charlie, I have to take my kid to a dentist appointment later do you mind closing up shop?"
"No not a problem" He said, he would still have enough time to catch his train if he hurried
"Thanks, see you soon" and with that his boss, Rick, hung up.
Charlie sighed softly and slid his phone back in his pocket

Why is the train taking so long? Grace asked herself, although she knew it was only because she was anxious at the change of seeing him again.

Charlie waited, fiddling with a coin as the train sped off stopping at the next stop

Grace sipped her coffee as the train pulled in. Her heart beat as she looked to see if he was on the train.

As the train pulled to a stop he found himself looking to the door, hoping she would walk through

Grace stepped on and sat down, choosing to search for him after she was seated rather than before.

He felt his heart skip a beat then grow faster as he saw her enter and sit down. He felt the large coin slip from his hand resulting in a clinking sound as it hit and sort of rolled in place before he quickly picked it back up slightly embarraced

Grace flicked her head at the sound of a coin being dropped. She blushed slightly.

Charlie gave a small wave and smile to the girl, hiding the fact that his heart felt like it had completely stopped

Grace mimicked the boy's smile and wave, blushing.

Charlie felt himself blush slightly and looked back down at his hands trying to hide it, lightly smiling

Grace looked away and played with her hair a little.

Charlie found himself peering over at her often, the thought of trying not to get caught peeking looks at someone made him feel like a little kid with a crush. She's so beautiful he thought. He noticed her playing with her hair and holding a the same coffee cup she was the other day. He found himself memorizing her features as if he would never see her again

Grace tries to think about work, but she just can't. She sneaks looks at him.

Charlie meets her eyes and looks away, embarrassed

Grace continued to look at the boy, cheeks hot.

Charlie still couldn't stop himself from peeking at her, he noticed a light blush to her cheeks and felt a light smile tug at his lips

Grace saw that a small smile was tugging at the boys lips, and returned it.

I know I should go talk to her but what would I say He thought
