The Borealis Club [CLOSED]

Borealis is the brand-new clubin the city, and it has been rising in popularity from the moment it opened its doors. The hype for the club was sky-high when it was built and has only risen since its opening. Anyone above the age of 18 is allowed in the club and it doesn't cost much for entry. Once inside, everyone gets given a glowstick around their neck, with colours representing their intentions at the club. Underage drinkers even get a white cross over their hands that glow in the blacklight. But no-one was expecting the surprise lock down that trapped hundreds of people inside only an hour after it opened that night. Our characters are stuck inside, and need to wait it out with the others inside. Relationships will be formed, whether those relationships are platonic or romantic is up to you.

GLOWSTICKS:
To explain a little more, these are mostly representing the person's interest in romantic relationships and whether it'd be okay to interact with them.
Pink = I'm interested in anyone, doesn't matter what gender
Green = I'm only interested in females
Purple = I'm interested in males and females
Blue = I'm only interested in males
Yellow = I'm in a relationship
White = I'm not looking for anyone

RULES:

• One character each
• Be nice outside of the RP
• Keep the characters human, so no magical powers or anything too OP. Just normal people.
• LGBTQ is loved and respected
• Character's age range is 18 and up
• Have some diversity with the characters. Not everyone has the same personality. Not everyone is Caucasian, cisgender, straight or female. But on the other hand, remember that not everyone's gay, bisexual, lesbian, male or genderfluid. Everyone is different.
• Try to avoid speech-only replies. You can do them, but think about how your character is saying what they're saying, what they may be doing, thinking or looking at while talking before replying with only what they're saying.
• Please ask to join before posting your character
• No develops in the character template and try to avoid using pictures for appearances.
• Swearing is completely fine, 'cuz I don't really care and it's a pretty casual RP, just don't overuse it.
• New story, new characters. If you've used a character before, don't use them unless they didn't have a big part in whatever they were in previously.
• If you break a rule, it's fine, but know that if you keep on breaking rules you'll be out of the RP.

Personality: She hates rules and is very rebellious. she is very flirty and will flirt with any girl she talks to.
Likes: talking, drinking, meeting new people, flirting, breaking the rules
Dislikes: rules, religion (but she will still respect others beliefs), her parents
Background: She is from Alabama and grew up with a very religious family. she was outed when she was 15 and her parents tried everything to try to "Fix" her. they even sent her to a "pray the gay away" camp for a summer when she was 16. She had to pretend she was straight after that. as soon as she turned 18 she got out of that house. she hasn't spoken to her family in 3 years.

Background: Piet was born in a small town in France where he was badly bullied until he taught himself to fight and faught back against his bullies. After that point he tried to stand up for others that were being treated unfairly which often resulted in fights. When they moved he still stood up for others but tried to get into less fights (although it didnt work well) He is still affected by the things his bullies would do and say which results in him being very self conscious.

Personality: confident, laid-back, outgoing, flirty, charming, funny, fun to be around, extremely insecure, doesn't trust easily, is a great friend when someone breaks down his walls, when he starts getting close to people or feels that they don't like him he avoids them
Likes: acting, singing, playing the guitar, songwriting, being acknowledged, making people laugh, pineapples, stormy nights

Background: Was the middle child of a family with 7 kids, where everyone was extremely close, but sometimes felt ignored because he had so many siblings - most of which were extremely successful in school and extra curricular or were young and needed a lot of attention. All this closeness and friendship got drained away when their mother, youngest brother and Conrad's twin sister were killed in a car crash on their way home from a shopping trip. Their family drifted apart, their father stopped being a good parent and Conrad and his older siblings had to take care of the younger ones. Soon his older siblings were out of the house and moved out himself when he was 19.
