There was another prisoner on the floor next to Adrielle, similarly bound. But unconscious. There was murmuring from overhead as the two adults in charge argued. One voice was loud and harsh. The other was less so. After a while the second voice stopped except to reply to the first. “Alright,” Jake said, “there are going to be some changes around here.”
Adrielle winced as the noise filtered in. She wished that he would just stop talking. She wanted to sleep.
(i think all of them banding together or all of them going to juvie is a good idea)
