Adrielle hurried back, matches hidden in her hoodie pouch. No one had noticed her. She winked at her new ally and grinned at Caine.

Valentina saw Adrielle sneak back so she stopped crying and walked away from Jane with no explanation.
(wait who's valentina, i got a little confused)
With a laugh, Adrielle grinned. "Thanks." She nodded to the two guys behind her. "Who're they?"

“No problem and don’t mind them. They come and go and are really only useful for beating people up,” Valentina explained. The two boys didn’t seem fazed by what she said.

Adrielle smirked. "Nice. So, can I just call them Dave 1 and Dave 2?"
“Sure, It’s better than me just calling the dumb and dumber,” she joked.
"That's actually better," she smirked. "I might call them that." She and Caine grinned at each other.
“Who’s he?” She asked motioning at Caine.
"Caine," she said. "My personal bodyguard."
”nice, ” Val said before looking around.

(hmm maybe they should do some activity, there's not much to do during lunch)

"Alright!" Jake yelled over the kids' chatter. "If you're done, we're gonna take a poll on what you wanna do. Raise your hand if you have a suggestion."
A random kid raised his hand."Capture the Flag!" He said excitedly.
Jake raised his eyebrows. "Alright. Anybody else?"
Adrielle raised an eyebrow, looking back at Caine as though to say, He has no idea what the fuck he's doing.
Everybody avoided looking at him.
Jake clapped his hands together. "Alright! Capture the flag it is! Kids with handcuffs, come over here so I can uncuff you. Everyone else, stay put, Jane will assign you to a team."
Declan groaned quietly.
Caine moved over to the counselor to get his handcuffs off. Adrielle fingered the matches in her pocket, a grin on her face.

Jasper walked into the clearing and nimbly sat next to the group, trailing Daso behind him. "What'd we miss?" he asked.
Declan looked at his messy hair and said nothing.
Cat looked up when she heard that she wouldn't need the handcuffs. She walked over and got uncuffed. She smirked as she passed Valentina. She walked back over to the group.
