Amie walked through the mall trying to find the nearest ice cream shop. It was raining outside, her favourite weather. She walked quickly and stopped at Dairy Queen, getting her usual, small cookie dough, and sitting on the bench outside of the store. It wasn’t at all busy today, because all of the teens were out working to get paid for college tuition fees. She sighed and stretched out on the bench and took out her most recent book, honey and milk.

Zora was at Starbucks, quickly changing into an apron, she put on her name tag, adjusted her hair and went out the door. She smiled at everyone while making their drinks. I hate this job.

Amie dropped her cup in the garbage and closed her book, heading for starbucks. She was soon supposed to be on her shift, but didn't really give a shit. She hated it, the fake smiles, the fake people. « ugh» she sighed.

Thomas rode his bike down the sidewalk, weaving out of pedestrians’ way. He smiled politely at anyone who smiled at him, but kept riding. He pulled in front of his favorite Starbucks, chained his bike to its stand, took off his helmet, and walked inside.

As she gave her last customer their coffee another customer came in, "Hi! How may I help you today?" she said, plastering another fake smile on her face.

“Good morning. Could I please have a tall passion tea lemonade? Thanks,” Thomas said. He paid quickly and sat down at a vacant table.

"Yep!" She turned around, rolled her eyes, and started to make the drink and spotted her co worker, Zora. "Hey Zora."

She looked at Amie, and smiled back,"Hey, Amie."

Hadley walked into Starbucks. "Mocha lotte please." She said when she got to the counter. SHe wasn't the biggest coffee drinker, as she was already so energetic, but she had had a late night and was in need of some caffeine.

(So is this going to be sorta like Riverdale? Or what's the mystery part?)

She looked back at the person that came up, and smiled while putting in her order,"Coming right up!" She went over to make a Mocha Latte and hands it to the girl.
