"You need to stop startling people awake like that," Alastor shouted angrily as he aggressively shoved his weapon back into its holster, deciding this wasn't the best time to tell her that a bullet is faster than a sword. "I've been trained to kill and so has Zeus, so you need to stop doing that or you're going to get hurt!"

"Scary" June said sarcastically. "I'm not scared of death, my grandmother trained me not to." She crossed her arms. "Besides, if you sleep during the day you won't sleep at night. Now I'm sure my brother is on the verge of a panic attack, oops" she half shrugged
Devon had dropped to a sitting position on the floor, his eyes wide with panic and his heart racing. He was glad he was alone in the room, he didn't like people seeing that side of him. He had grown up with an aggressive mother, so sudden loud things when he was asleep, tends to trigger him.
Alastor gave June a disgusted look before storming off to his backpack near the couch, grabbing a water bottle from it, and heading to Devon's room.
"Hey," he said in a very noticeablely quiter voice and nicer tone than he used with June as he peeked his head in. He was still very pissed at her, but he knew he shouldn't take it out on her brother. "Is it alright if I come in?"

( imma just wait for @Davadio ,since Lucas and Ronni are in a different apartment, I don't think a response to this situation would be suitable, especially since Lucas is basically quarantining. )
Alastor walked over to Devon and sat down beside him.
"Just take deep breaths," he murmured, offering the water bottle over. "I know water isn't a miracle cure for panic attacks, but it can help. Drink this."
Zeus gave a low growl as he bared his teeth at June before sniffing the couch to see if Liam was okay and then walking to the entrance to Devon's room and standing in front of it protectively, glaring at the girl who made his normally calm and chill human companion so upset.
Alastor hesitated before slowly putting an arm around Devon and pulling him in for a side-hug.
"No, you're not," he replied gently. "But I'm not leaving until you are actually fine, okay?"

Liam slept through June throwing the chair, but when his pillow stood up he stood up with him and put his hand in his hoodie pocket. Clutching his gun with one hand while watching Alistor for why he stood up so fast. He looked from Ali to June and rolled his eyes as he sat back down. only letting go of the gun when Zeus came up to check on him. Liam started to pet Zeus while glaring at June. He didn't know what she did, but Ali was mad so so was he⦠Maybe.

Ronni watched him fall asleep, beginning to doze off after a few minutes.
The crash from across the hall startled her awake, and she jumped out of her chair, her hand reaching for the gun in her waistband.
She stepped to the door, her eyes scanning the hallway. She was ready to take out anyone who stepped out of line.
The sound of Alastor arguing with June clued her in, and she relaxed.
Irritating, but not dangerous.

Lucky immediately pushed Ariella away from him and behind him. He turned to face the aource of the noise, and realized he didn't have his poncho. No weapons.
When he realized it was just June, though, and that others had reacted as he did, he got angry.
He took Ariella's hand and gently tugged her with him. They walked out of the kitchen, and he shoved June against the wall on his way past her.
"Think before you do stupid stuff next time."
He pulled Ariella back into the room their atuff was in, shaking his head. "Teenagers."
Devon moved so he was hugging Alastor tightly. Feeling comfort by being held. "o-ok" he muttered pressing his face into Alastor's shoulder.
Alastor held Devon close to him, hoping that by being there then he would calm down.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked after a minute or two.
Alastor didn't attempt to move either, but he did smile a bit when Zeus walked in to see if everything was good. The massive dog sniffed at Alastor before going up to Devon and licking his face, wagging his tail as he did so.

Lucas had also woken up, but found his strength was too low to jump up the way Ronni did.
"What the hell was that?" He asked, his voice growing quicker and higher in concern.
Alastor felt a bit disappointed when Devon let go, but he ignored that feeling and reached over to give Zeus a scratch behind the ear.
The dog wagged his tail even more, pleased with the attention.

Liam stood up and walked over to June. "Why did you do that?" he asked accusingly.

Liam looked at her, amazed. "I get that we were planning to leave, but if you're to physically tired, there's not much you can do."

"Why not?" Liam asked. "Almost no one travels during the day, and even less during the night."

Ronni frowned as she turned to look at him.
"Just June being stupid. No worries." She was bringing her heartrate down slowly.
The dumb teenager had nearly gotten herself shot. Alastor had a gun, Ronni did, she was pretty sure Liam did and Lucky looked like if he didn't shoot you he could break your neck anyway.
Devon sighed, releasing the dog, he didn't look at Alastor, "Um..thanks⦠you didn't have to help me..sorry for clinging to you" he said quietly.
"It's no problem," Alastor replied with a smile. "And yes, I did have to help you because the alternative would've been getting in an actual fight with your sister."
