A children role-play
Hailey kept looking for that soccer ball. She saw it stuck in a bush. Now how’d that get here? Behind that bush, she heard a group of kids talking. Peering over, she saw some of her friends.
“Hey, guys!”
(I’m pretty sure they’re talking and eating ice cream… I kinda skimmed.)
( so their still at the ice cream place? Nothing else happened? )
(Nope. Nothing else)
( oh okay )
"Hey guys…" Lenny said after a second.
Robin looked towards Lenny.
Zoey lifted her head off the table. "Hmm?????"
“Was I interrupting anything?” Hailey asked, still holding the soccer ball.
Lenny turned to Hailey and smiled slightly. "No, but I.. I have this feeling. I feel like somethings wrong." she said hastily.
"What do you mean?" Zoey asked.
"I don't know. But I think we should go." she said standing. She'd finished her ice cream, so luckily, she wasn't leaving anything behind.
Zoey nodded and stood up too.
“Okay…?” Hailey said confused. She decided to just follow them. “Hey, how about we go down to the pond? The one that’s next to th playground.”
Lenny nodded. "Yeah I think that would be good. Is everyone okay with that?" she asked.
Robin stood silently, ready to simply follow the group wherever it went.
"I'm cool with that!" Zoey answered.
“Let’s go!” Hailey exclaimed excitedly. She loved that park, especially all the ducks.
"Sounds like a plan!" said Lenny. "Lead the way Hailey." ( Levi, since you aren't on lets just say you wanna follow. )
“Okay!” Hailey began walking down until she reached an intersection.
“Wait, are we supposed to turn left on Elm, or right?”
Lenny sighed, and smiled. "Left." she said with a laugh.
“Okay! Left we go!” Hailey began skipping down the sidewalk, not caring if she was technically a teenager or that she would be going to high school next year.
“The flowers by the pond are always so beautiful around this time of year. I’m so excited! I haven’t been there for months!”

Levi followed the group, humming softly. "I didn't even know there was a pond."
Lenny laughed softly at Levi, and followed Hailey. "So, Hailey, where did you find this pond?" she questioned.
'I should get a cat so we can sit on this hedge together and stare at people walking by…. while eating plumes.'
