It was all nice and comfy until there was a loud knock at the door. Cameron whined loudly and snuggled into her.

“Food! Finally! Cam, either you or I have to get up. Take your pick babe,” Lilah declared, sitting up and glancing at the door quickly.

Cameron laid back on the bed and groaned. “I don’t wannaaaaaaa get up.”

“Fine, then, I will,” Lilah laughed as she stepped off the bed and walked to the door.
A young woman had a cart of food, and she smiled at Lilah when the door was opened to her. “Good afternoon! I hope you enjoy your meal,” she chirped in a thick accent as she rolled the cart into the room.
Lilah thanked her and gave her a tip, and the woman left as she pocketed the money. Taking the cart, Lilah rolled it over to her side of the bed before sitting back down.

“I’ll be right back,” Lilah promised, bending down to peck him in the lips before standing. She pushed the cart out into the hallway and made her way back to the bed, laying down beside Cameron.
