So most apocalyptic RPs that I've seen on here are either zombie apocalypses or alien invasion-type things (which is fun, I'm in some myself) but I just an idea for a different kind of apocalyptic RP (hence the title lol). Anyway, without further ado, the summary…
In 2040, the world is ending. It's not because of one thing, but many. The environment is being destroyed by the need to have more urbanization, and the air is becoming too toxic to breathe. However, the rising generation is…different…than everyone else. Not only are they more adaptable to the crumbling planet, but some of them have abilities beyond what anyone has seen or heard of before. As people everywhere are dying, these kids might just be the key to fixing things.
But in order to fix things, they have to survive first. But competition for the remaining resources is brutal, and even more so when others with sinister plots in mind notice how the Earth is reacting to these "special" kids, even going so far as kidnap them and pit them against each other in battle.
So basically, our characters are going to be the ones who are "special" and they're trying to save the world, since most of them have powers/abilities that will help the Earth reverse its decay in some way (like plant powers, for example).
As for rules, this is going to be about PG-15 or PG-16, so swearing and violence are fine as long no one goes overboard. Romance is allowed, but if your characters wanna get sexy please take it to pm. Be nice. Don't be OP. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply. That's about it.
