A Dystopian/Fantasy RP About Ants

So this RP based on a story idea that I had a while ago that I'm trying to revive. It's probably really stupid, but it's about a bunch of kids age 13-17 that get sucked into a book about ants where the ant-people are in the middle of a post civil war situation. (The story's also fantasy, but that's where dystopian part comes from.) Anyway, the human kids try to help the ant-people so they can get home (not clear on the details).
You can either be an ant-person or a human. The template is below.

(This sounds really cool, also just a question, are the ant people giant ants with human traits, or are they different? Because I imagine them as the gi-ants from Phineas and Ferb)

(I honestly didn't really think about that… well, they can talk. I guess they look like ants, but human-size. They're smart like humans… I'm open to any other ideas about the specifics.)
EDIT: (I suppose they could have hair and stuff like that, too.)

Background: She grew up with her younger sister Megan, who was the center of every bodies attention. She made her presence known by getting into trouble often, and showing off in public places. This meant that her shy personality was thrown out the window and was replaced with a loud, bossy and extroverted persona.
