Quinn fell asleep in his office, curled in the big chair by his desk.
Aster received his orders; he was to accompany the king and Charlotte on the journey to find her a way home.

Charlotte suddenly sat straight up. "I was getting breakfast!" She exclaimed, suddenly remembering. She got up with a sigh and rushed towards the kitchens.
Aster made his way down the hallway, and spotted Charlotte. "Lottie!" He called.
Charlotte spun. "Oh, for heaven's sake, I just wanted breakfast!" She groaned. She took a deep breath before speaking again. "What I meant was, hello."
Aster chuckled, catching up to her. "Dont go to the kitchens if you want breakfast, then. Come with me." He grinned, and beckoned to her as he started walking.
Charlotte narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "Fine, but if you yell at me, I'm leaving."
Aster sighed. "Why would I yell at you, Lottie?" he asked, looking back at her.
"I don't know! You keep doing it, and it's quite unpleasant," Charlotte pouted.
He sighed. "Have I actually? Hm. My apologies." He said.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I was promised food," she reminded him crossly.
Aster sighed dramatically. "Come along, then." He started walking again.
"Well, what in heaven's name did you think I was doing?" She asked annoyedly.
He chuckled. "Squawking at me about me yelling at you." He replied.
"That was a rhetorical question," she said through clenched teeth.
He grinned. "Oops." He kept walking.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "The important thing is the food, which I was supposed to have 3 hours ago," she tapped her fingers on her arm.
Aster chuckled, and led her into a buffet room. "Voila." He replied.
(I'm going to bed! I felt like I should warn you XD)
"Finally," Charlotte groaned, rushing over to the table.

Charlotte filled her plate quickly and went to go sit down. Apparently, the people in Wonderland made excellent pancakes.

Aster grabbed some food as well, sitting down near her.
Charlotte ignored him and pulled a book out of her jacket, starting to read.
Aster ate quietly, thinking.
Charlotte tapped her fingers on the table. After a few moments, she shut the book with a snap and sighed, leaning on the table. "Why aren't there any interesting books here?" She complained to herself.
Aster looked up, and shrugged slightly.

Charlotte finished her food and stood up. "What am I to do with this?" She asked, gesturing to her plate.
(lol it's totally fine! I was at Spiderman: Far From Home, so yay! I finally got to see it!)
Aster gestured. "There." He said, pointing to a container half full of dirty, used plates.

Charlotte nodded and placed her plate in the container. "I should probably go back to my room," she informed Aster.

Aster nodded, finishing up and putting his own dishes away. "Alright. Would you like me to accompany you?"

Charlotte shrugged. "Not particularly," she answered flatly, taking her book off the table.
