Charlotte stared him down defiantly, not moving. "In the case that she is special, that word has many meanings."
A Random Rp?
Quinn bent, mouth by her ear. "Yes, but she was, well. Alice was special in ways you don't even know." He whispered, voice sounding almost like a purring cats, flirtatious and dangerous.
Charlotte politely took a step back before scoffing. "Clearly there are many things about my mother that I am not aware of," she mused, leveling a look at Quinn. "But I've a feeling you haven't brought me here to discuss my mother."
Quinn gave a slightly unsettling laugh. "That's true." He replied with another light smirk. "I brought you here to ask why you're in my land." His voice took on a more dangerous edge.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Believe me, if I could have chosen to be here, I would still be at home," she informed him. "I fell into the well, but instead of water, there was a bloody universe inside."
"So. Just like Alice, you fell down the rabbit hole." He mused, looking at her with a smirk still on his handsom face. "Interesting."
"It wasn't a rabbit hole, it was a well, please pay attention," she berated.
He gave a half shrug, smirking again. "Spirited." He commented. "And the specifics don't matter. It was a hole, was it not?"
Charlotte thought for a moment before nodding. "I suppose. But does it really matter how I got here?"
"No." Quinn replied with another slippery smirk. "However, I can't just let you…roam through Wonderland. Someone as powerful as you, related to Alice, roaming about? Hah!" He laughed.
"Well, I don't see why not," Charlotte said indignantly, placing her hands on her hips. "What, exactly, are you afraid I'm going to do?"
He laughed again. "Cause harm, like your mother." He replied, shaking his head. "She upset the balance of our world, and so will you, if you are allowed to roam free."
Cassie wrinkled her brow. "I most certainly will not. What a ridiculous idea."
He laughed. "Ridiculous?" He shook his head. "Your mother didnt know what she was doing. Neither do you. Worse, you have abilities she did not."
"How do you know that?' Charlotte snapped before regaining her composure. "And anyway, I can't exactly go home, as I have no clue how to do so."
"I never said i would send you home. No. You're staying here." Quinn turned away, back to the throne.
After a moment of dumbstruck silence, Charlotte was struck with a thought. "You do know my mother was 6 years old when she came here, correct?" She asked, looking around. "And anyway, where, exactly, am I staying?"
Quinn thought for a moment. "Six years old or not, she still messed everything up." He replied with a nonchalant shrug. "And you will be staying here, of course." He smirked.
Charlotte sighed. "What, right here in this… throne room?"
Quinn snorted. "No, stupid." He replied, rolling his eyes. "In this castle." He settled back on the throne.
Charlotte fumed. "Do not call me stupid. Seeing as you didn't tell me one single thing as to where I was supposed to go, I asked a simple question. That does not correlate to stupidity, you dustbin fire."
He laughed again, smirking. "Aw, thank you, darling." He said, walking back over to her. "But no. There are rooms specially designed for prisoners."
Charlotte crossed her arms indignantly. "I will not stay in a prison."
(btw I'm trying to find a pic for Quinn, but I might not be able to unless i get to use the laptop tonight, sorry)
Quinn chuckled, eyes flickering over her. "You won't, darling." He replied. "Don't worry."
(Oh, that's fine!)
Charlotte tipped her head slightly. "Would it trouble you terribly to stop speaking riddles and tell me what I need to know?"
Quinn smirked, shaking his head. "Riddles?" He chuckled. "Ive told you everything you've asked! If you aren't satisfied, well then…ask better questions!"
Charlotte growled in frustration, crossing her arms and glaring at him. "Where. In. The. Castle. Am. I. Supposed. To. Stay?" She asked tightly with a sarcastic smile.
"Why, in a room of course!" Quinn said with a crooked smile. He was quite enjoying this.
Charlotte tapped her foot. "Well, are you going to show me which one, or would you like me to wander the castle and pick one at random?"
Quinn smirked. "Come with me, then." He said, quirking a finger at her and starting to walk.
