"Oy!" Kim nudged Victoria's rib. "I'm sure teen dragons are twice as bad."

Victoria rubs her side.
“Not if you decapitate them first. Oh gods I am starting to sound like Axion and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer).”

"Dragons?" He asked confused, ignoring the insult

"Who are Axion and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)?" Kim asked Victoria curiously. "And, yes, dragons. Keep up," she told Keenan briefly.

"Sorry I'm trying" He apologized mentally trying to put things together

“Axion is my girlfriend and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) is an up and coming General within a country that is so far away from my own. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) is a dwarf.”

"What a fascinating backstory!" Kim exclaimed. "What's yours, Keenan? Nothing can top that, but I'm curious nonetheless.

"Boring stuff, I mostly just help my grandpa with things" He explained

Layla yawned, "I don't know still kinda boring."

Victoria looks up at Layla.
“What’s your story? You seem. Interesting.”

"Well…" Layla trailed off, "Ok, I'm from a world were… I'm an escaped slave in my world, Humans are lesser beings where I'm from I was slave to a Graciel or a part animal human, they're worshiped like gods. I was given to this guy to ensure a good harvest for my village. At first it was fine he left me alone as long as I did my work, then I was promoted. I was around him more, and I found out he gets drunk a lot and goes into drunken rages often, he would throw glass around and then pick up the shards and throw them at the slaves, in doing so he often was injured and it was my job to fix him up. Eventually I had enough I couldn't do it so I got a hold of some poison and instead on healing him I murdered him and escaped. I was found by a group of rebel humans and I became apart of there rescue teams as a healer, or a doctor. My camp got attacked, I was being tortured for information for about 3 months before I showed up here."

Victoria back her head up.
“Holy hell. That’s extreme.”

Layla shrugged, "It's my life, I'll live with it, one day I know we'll get rid of the Graciel, we have to."

Victoria nods her head slowly.
“Wish I could help you but, even if we get out of here I doubt I’ll be able to get support to your world.”

Layla looked down at Victoria, "It's our fight, we'll figure it out."

Victoria shrugged.
“Still, sending a small army of dwarves wouldn’t hurt.”

(They do, they force all of them onto an island and then after a few years the Graciel get treated like dirt and then the main character creates equality among both races but that's not for a while and Layla is long gone before that happens)

(Damn.) Victoria shakes her head.
“Doubt andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) would be too happy with me stealing a bunch of his shock troops.”

while everything was happening Arioch had taken his knife back and was looking it over.

Aren’t you guys at school?

“That settles it. I am the most boring person here.  Might as well climb a tree.´´ she exclaimed dramatically and fell back onto the grass.

(I am but I am currently in le study block.)
Victoria shakes her head.
“I suggest not climbing a tree if you want to keep your eye, legs, and hands functioning.”

"Hey I climbed a tree, I'm in the tree."

Victoria rephrased herself.
“Ok let me rephrase that, don’t forcfully climb the tree or hurt it. Or you’ll end up like me.”

"Aren't we supposed to be not bothering the trees" Keenan added

Victoria looked up and mutter something to herself. She then turns to Keenan. “Just don’t piss the trees off, that includes harming them or just making them mad.”

"I'll try not to" He said while lowering himself to sit on the ground.

“Good idea. I pissed off a tree and look what it did to me. Just saying.”

"What did you do to piss off the trees anyways?" Keenan asked curiously

Victoria stares blankly off into the distance. “I am gonna leave that unanswered bud. Mainly because I don’t know.”
