“I don’t know. It’s been a habit of mi e since I wasn’t allowed to… never mind d”

“Oh,” Ryan said quietly as he filled in the words in his head, “I’m sorry. I guess… I don’t know. I don’t eat much. I’ve been told it was the cigs.”

“My dad didn’t work so..” he shrugged and set the fruit down

“Oh,” Was the only response Ryan could think of, “I guess I really shouldn’t be allowed to be…” depressed was the word that should’ve been in that sentence, but Ryan felt like the doctor’s label didn’t encompass everything, “the way I am.”

Josh went to get more fruit, because he wanted some as well

“I’m caspian, my friends call me Cas.” He stuck his hand out

“Ryan,” He took Cas’s hand and gave it a firm shake, “And… I’m sorry about earlier. I just… have different personalities at times, I guess,” Ryan said, still thinking back to his outburst.

“It’s fine. So what is there to do around here?” He asked

“I don’t know. I saw the ocean, but… I haven’t been here for long,” Ryan replied.

Josh came back and walked past Ryan to head back to his room carrying apples and bananas

“Would you like to go exploring with me?” He asked

Paige looked closer at the screen, a confused look spreading on her face. "It… It says that she's here. See? Current Location: Serenity Mansion. That is here, right?"

“I don’t know. I saw the ocean, but… I haven’t been here for long,” Ryan replied.

“Would you like to go exploring with me?” He asked

“Sure,” Ryan replied with an affirmative nod. (Got to get to sleep, see you later)

Paige looked closer at the screen, a confused look spreading on her face. "It… It says that she's here. See? Current Location: Serenity Mansion. That is here, right?"

Tara frowned. "It does…."

Just then, Evaline knocked on the door.

Paige stood up quickly. "I'll get it," she said to Tara. She went over to the door and opened it. "Hello?"

Evaline took a double take of Paige. "….Paige?!"

Paige blinked. "Y-Yes." For an instant, she didn't recognize her.

"Paige. Remember me?"

Ryan walked out of the mansion, breathing in the cool breeze from the ocean that wasn’t visible from where Ryan stood, “I’m following you, so…” Ryan trailed off, waiting for Cas to lead the way.

“Oh right.” He laughed. He started walking around the house trying to find something to do

Ryan walked slightly behind Cas, letting the salty breeze take him away. It was really beautiful here, “I guess I understand why they call it ‘Serenity’ Mansion.”
