Yeon stretced his legs out as he thought about his future. His family and friends were back in Cuba, and he missed them greatly. He knew that the touchy subject would make his mood terrible. “What about you, chica? What do you want to do?”
"Realistically, I want to be a neurologist, not realistically, I want to be a singer." Dove started braiding a strand of her hair.

“Really? Still haven’t heard you sing yet,” Yeon said with a hopeful grin.
"Not ever happening." she pushed him away from her playfully.
The tune quickly turned into a romantic ballad, "Veronique" by Ross La Vel. It moved along smoothly and beautifully. It was one of his favorite songs. It reminded him of the times he and his twin sister spent together. It reminded him of his first-and so far his only-love.

"In your dreams." Dove snorted, clasping her hands together and sitting criss-cross.

Dove hid her face in her pillow, voice muffled, "No."

"I will." Dove nodded at him and inspected her socks.

Yeon chuckled and sat up, trying to get comfortable in the small space.
"You can go down now. I don't suppose you'd want to sit with me until we reach our destination?" Dove asked, hugging a pillow.

“Oh no, I’d gladly sit here with you on the ride to wherever we are going,” Yeon said, looking at Dove.
"It's going to take more than a few hours, you know that, right? Nights too." Dove squinted, "You're not sleeping with me."

“Ah, I see,” Yeon said, a mock-disappointed expression on his face.
"G-good." she nodded, cheeks heating up as she remembered earlier. Seriously Dove? You asked for a kiss. How freaking stupid.

Yeon chuckled at a pink tint that filled Dove’s cheeks. “How about I take the bunk above yours so we can talk?”
"Sure." Dove didn't know what to do with her hands. Should she put them in her lap? Next to her side? Into Yeon's hands? Nope. Definitely not.
