Ajin Demi-human (CLOSED 5/5)

In the modern world, there are people who are called Ajins, these people cannot die; not for long anyway. Once killed, an Ajin will be "dead" only for a few moments before healing and resetting. All throughout the world there have only been about 60 reported Ajins, though there are many more who have yet to be discovered. In addition, the Ajin can summon things that are (officially) called IBM's. These IBM's, or, black ghosts are human-shaped creatures that are (almost always) invisible to the naked human eye, while other Ajin are able to see them. The only way (known to date) to discover that one is an Ajin is to die and then come back. (THIS IDEA IS FROM AN ANIME/MANGA! OTHER THAN MY OWN CHARACTERS, I DO NOT OWN THE PLOT IN ANY WAY!)

Appearance: Florence stands at 5'4" ft tall and weighs 128 lbs. Her hair is straight and her bangs are cut into a half moon style while the color of her hair is dyed rust red. Florence's eyes are a mixture of light and dark brown; her skin is very lightly tanned.
Personality: Generally, Florence is a very friendly person, but does not take much notice to strangers. The only time Florence shows an interest in those that she doesn't know is when she knows that they are also Ajin.

(if Ajin) What does their IBM/black ghost look like?: Florence's IBM is a tall grey-black figure without a midsection. In place of where its stomach and back would be is a rigid line that mimics the appearance of a spine. [i.e The generic form for an IBM]
(if Ajin) How did they find out that they are an Ajin/are they currently aware?: Florence is aware that she is an Ajin, and found out when she was 15. One day when she was out swimming with her family, Florence stepped over a drop off in a lake and drowned. She "woke up" a few moments afterward to find herself lying near her panicking parents.

Other: Florence's IBM (like many others) will sometimes copy things that she says, picking and choosing which phrases it wants to say. Most of the time these phrases sound broken up and are hard to understand.

Appearance: Long dirty blonde hair that reaches her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a pristine sharp gray. She has a heart-shaped face with a rather broad nose and flat shoulder blades. Curvy hourglass body type. 5’11.
Personality: Very bouncy and bright. She lives off of attention, and she can’t stand being alone. She loves to hang around those she likes, or someone she doesn’t like or know! As long as they’re someone who talks often, she’ll attach herself to them.

(if Ajin) What does their IBM/black ghost look like?: They are as tall as she is and rather plump in the thighs and stomach. They have thick fingers and long, glittering black fingernails with a wide smile and two dots for eyes.

Appearance: Her skin is a paler tone, with faint peachy/flushed undertones on her cheekbones, collarbone and shoulders. Flushes quite easily from compliments or anything along that. Pale freckles nearly all over, with a spray along her nose, collarbone, shoulders and arms. Softer features that are usually pulled into thoughtful frowns and suspicious looks. Straight hair cut a bit below her shoulders and is an ashy, lighter blonde color. Around 5'5 with a leaner and long legged frame. Her eyes are an odd, murkier grey tone, resulting in her appearance looking a bit faded
Personality: Quieter and hostiler than most. Moody. Usually bluntly sarcastic. Even for her hostile traits, she's quite peaceful and doesn't see the point in agitating other without a cause. Though, she isn't afraid to put someone back into their place. Charismatic at times. Doesn't open up very quickly, though once she does she's protective of those around her. Doesn't take great care of herself. Soft spoken and gentler.

(if Ajin) What does their IBM/black ghost look like?: Their IBM is an odd, lanky looking figure that tends to be a bit odd. It moves around in a slinky manner and leans towards a very dark grey tone. A few, oddly shaped cuts on its arms and legs that look like big nicks being taken out of a shadow.
(if Ajin) How did they find out that they are an Ajin/are they currently aware?: Ash had found out she was an Ajin when she had passed away in a DUI with her brother when she was 16 years old. While her brother didn't survive, she "reset" outside of the car.

All throughout the city, people rushed down the streets, chattering endlessly as reporters stood in front of bulky cameras, speaking of another outed Ajin. In shops and restaurants, the volume on the wall-mounted televisions was as high as it could go as people crowded around them. Despite the rising number, each time and Ajin was reported everyone jumped at the chance to learn as much as they could. Companies always offered rewards in the event that someone were to actually find an Ajin, though it had yet to happen. Years ago, there had been a controversy involving claims that the companies offering these rewards were conducting inhumane tests on the Ajin that they had captured.

Sitting on her back porch, Florence watched the news through the sliding glass doors to her house. A tidy looking woman in a black and blue suit top and skirt was speaking into a microphone, telling the viewers that there had been a confirmed Ajin sighting earlier that day.
"Bystanders say that the man ran a red light only to be crashed into by a bus. He was seen moments later exiting his vehicle and running away, in the direction of the courthouse as well as the outskirts of the city."
At this, Florence balled up her fists and turned around, her darkly colored eyes landing on a tall, shadowy figure that was standing on the wooden stairs leading up to the porch. Almost immediately the figure crumbled away, leaving no trace that it had ever been there.
"If only I could keep you out longer," Florence mumbled, looking down at the footprints it had left in the thin layer of snow.

Appearance: Tessa is Hispanic, with naturally black (technically really dark brown) hair that is cut short in a boy's hairstyle and dyed bright pink and blue. She looks very androgynous, without the petite frame that most girls have, and she is also taller than most. She has light brown skin and dark eyes, with very pronounced features (large lips, blunt nose, strong jaw). She wears a lot of eyeliner, eyeshadow, and brow liner to enhance her eyes.
Personality: On the surface, she is fierce, independent, and pugnacious, but beneath her tough exterior, she possesses a strong loyalty toward her friends and duty. She also has an admirable compassion and devotion, demonstrated when she expresses love toward things such as her family and friends. Her offensive battle style means that she is always quick to initiate or rise to a challenge, and is similarly quick witted and impulsive, especially in heated situations.

(if Ajin) How did they find out that they are an Ajin/are they currently aware?: She was mugged one night in an abandoned subway station and stabbed to death. She "reset" only to find her attacker freaking the fuck out because wow, he didn't think that the girl he just mugged was a fucking Ajin. She dragged him to the police station after tying him up and left an anonymous note. When she found him back on the street a while later, she just decided to kill him.
History (optional): Theresa is the daughter of a prostitute and a prominent politician. While the politician was out on a business trip, his return trip home was delayed and he grew tired of waiting to come back home to his wife, so… he hired a prostitute. About a year later, the prostitute found out where he lived and showed up at his door with a baby. Horrified, the politician ordered her to drown the baby (since his reputation would be ruined if anyone ever found out that he had an illegitimate child), but she couldn’t bring herself to do so. She left the baby in front of a foster home, where she was raised for the next ten years until she ran away and decided to live on the streets.
Family (optional): The closest thing to a family that Tessa has is her best friend (nicknamed Panda because of her soft personality) who was kicked out of her house for being bi. She's kind of like the mom friend, and will fight you if you trash talk Tessa. Hufflepuff.
Other: Tessa's either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin… She's good at fighting, surprisingly good at strategy/battle games (chess, battleship), considering the fact that she's more of a jock. Loves math. Panda once got her an old AP math textbook for her 14th birthday and she nearly cried.
