Aaron closes his eyes, trying to get rid of his blush. stupid face… he avoids looking at her, knowing she was already going to make fun of him.

But Meg just continues to smile softly, looking back at the flower and twirling the stem between her fingers.

After a few moments, Aaron looks at her and smiles. “You know…your smile seems contagious…”

“Really?” Meg questions, raising her fingers to touch her small smile. “I never really noticed.”

He chuckles softly and nods. “Yes…even a small one makes me want to smile…”

“It's been a while since I smiled like this.” she admits. “I just feel… calm, peaceful around you.”

He smiles brightly. “Well…i am honored to see your beautiful smile.”

Meg laughs softly, feeling her face warm. “You… You don't have to say it like that.”

He chuckles softly. “Oh? So I can’t speak the truth?”

“No, no. I prefer honesty.” she assures. “I just meant that you didn't have to phrase it so… eloquently.”

He laughs softly. “Well too bad.” He smirks.

Meg shakes her head, laughing.

Aaron laughs as well, smiling. “Oh dear, even your laugh is contagious!”

“Aaron, stop.” she chuckles. “I’m only laughing because you are being so funny.”

He smirks, “Well then stop laughing or the guards will start laughing.” He chuckles.

She laughs again and shakes her head. “I doubt that the guards will start laughing. Aren't they trained to be serious and alert all the time?”

Aaron smirks, “Mhm…thats why I’m telling you to stop before they do.” He laughs.

Meg chuckles at his answer but nods. “Alright. If you stop making me laugh so much, I’ll calm down.”

He chuckles. “No promises.”

Meg giggles at the tease but manages to calm back down, though she’s still smiling.

Aaron smiles brightly. This was probably the most he’s ever smiled in his life. “You have no idea how amazing you are.”

Meg shakes her head. “I’m not that amazing. I’m just having a good time being with you. If anything, you are the amazing one.”

He huffs. “How about we both are amazing?” He pokes her shoulder playfully.

Knowing how stubborn Aaron can be, she nods. “Alright. I can live with that.” she smiles softly.

He laughs softly, seeming to fully relax. “Hm…”

Meg sighs and looks around at the garden surrounding them.

Aaron closes his eyes. “Hm…this is nice…”

“It really is.” she agrees. “And these flowers are just beautiful.”

Aaron smiles, “Just like you…” he blushes slightly.
