He sighs and gently pulls her into a hug. “Well I’m not going down without a fight…you can be sure of that…”

Meg chuckles tearfully and nods. “Good.” she replies, returning the hug.

He gently rubs her back, humming softly. “I’d never willingly leave such an amazing person like you…”

Meg laughs again, gently tightening the hug. “Thank you. You are the best friend I've ever had.”

He smiles softly, closing his eyes. “I’m glad…you deserve a good friend…”

“So do you.” she whispers. “I hope I’m good enough.”

He laughs softly, “More than just ‘good enough’…” He mumbles. “You are way more…”

“Thank you.” she smiles softly. “You are very kind.”

He smiles softly, then pulls away from the hug slightly. He looks at her, a soft, almost loving look in his eyes. She stayed there with him…even when he was sleeping…she had no idea how grateful he felt. Especially being able to wake up and find out he wasn’t alone.

Meg blushes at the way he was looking at her. Her heart fluttered, feeling like she was about to melt… She knew she liked Aaron but she also believed that she didn't deserve him.

Aaron sighs softly with content. At least he could trust that she would be there with him if something happened. He smiles softly as he notices the blush creeping onto Meg’s cheeks. “Hm…”

Meg smiles shyly when she realizes that Aaron noticed her blush.

He hums softly, resting his hand on her cheek.

Meg could feel her blush darken but she didn't pull away from the touch. She didn't want to.

He smiles playfully at her, “Thats a good look on you…”

“Don't tease me.” Meg sighs, still blushing.

He laughs softly, “Oh but I’m merely speaking the truth…”

“Yet you are laughing at me.” Meg points out simply. She wasn't offended by it, in fact she was happy to hear him laughing again.

He smiles, booping her nose. “Well that’s because I’m happy to see that blush…”

Meg was caught off guard by Aaron touching her nose but just sighed, feeling her blush grow. She was actually fairly sure that even her ears were red at this point.

He chuckles, “You are as red as a tomato…”

“You're not helping.” Meg huffs, not pulling away.

He laughs softly, “Well you seem to be enjoying it…”

Meg sighs and shakes her head. “I’m not even going to respond to that.”

He smirks, “I knew it.” He hums softly, gently playing with her hair.

Meg smirks faintly before closing her eyes and letting him toy with her hair.

He hums a soft tune, carefully braiding a strand of hair. “I love your hair…”

Meg smiles softly but doesn't move away.
