"B-But he's basically our father now… I… I-I have to listen to him…"
(Thatcher you-)
"That's his dumb opinion, not fact."
(Lucas does not have the mental strength to ignore his father figure's opinion)
"But his opinion matters to me… h-he's all I've got."
(lol, and I'm back and don't know where the mood swinging Thatcher can jump in)
"Excuse me?"
(Just hop through the window like YO WHY U CRYING BOI??)
"I-I mean in terms of parental figures… you count too, of course.."
"HEEELLLLLOOO." Just then golden ears and brown hair peeked through the window, "Can you open this up?" Thatcher asked, knocking on the glass.
Lucas jumped at the knocking, almost falling off the bed. He tried to brush the rest of his tears away as he went to open the window.
Thatcher's face went blank when he say the expression on his 'sons' face, "Your still scared?" He asked, jumping into the room.
Lucas hesitated before nodding, quickly going back to sit on the bed.
He frowned and sat by him, "Don't worry Lucas, you doing have to be scared of something that doesn't exist."
"I… I-I know… that's not the only problem…" Lucas whispered.
"Are you scared or angry with me?"
Aaliyah grumbled and walked back to her bed, she sat on her bed hugging her doll. She did her best to not glare at Thatcher.
"…No. It's… m-my parents…" His eyes brimmed with tears again and he looked away again.
"That was along time ago, its best that you don't think about it." Thatcher said sadly, putting his arms around him, "Aaliyah, can you do you best and keep him out of harms way?"
“I am.”
"And try to stay away from Tommy." He added.
“What?” Aaliyah asked, “Tommy..? Oh. The one I muttered about when I was asleep?”
"Yes, I was there too and it was creepy!"
Aaliyah shrugged, “I don’t know what I do when I’m asleep.”
"I know, me too." He looked up at the ceiling, "I woke up in a toilet once. I don't know know how I got there."
Aaliyah looked at him weirdly.
"Its a long story. I was at a party and had a little to much, stuff like that."
Aaliyah sighed and shook her head, “What time is it?”
Tears rolled down Lucas's cheeks and he leaned against Thatcher. He tuned out their conversation.

"Morning? Look out side and see." Thatcher said, holding Lucas tighter.
