An Unlikely Team (CLOSED)

He calls over the bartender to order two drinks, he pays and hands one to Luna. He remembers they don't know each others names, "I'm Auther Bennett."

"Me llamo Luna Cazadora," Luna responded. She took the drink.

"Nice to meet you, Luna. I like your hoe." He smiles again.

"Gracias," Luna's face heated up a little. No one had ever been this kind to her.

"Your welcome," he takes a sip of his drink, "If i'm not being to intrusive, where are you from?"

"Mexico," Luna responded.

"Interesting, I've never been there, what is it like?" Auther asks.

"Hot," Luna said simply. It wasn't false, "And sometimes it's warm."

"I don't think I'd do well there, I enjoy the cold weather. I have never liked heat much." Auther had other questions but for the sake of being polite kept them to himself.

"Where are you from?" Luna asked him.

"England, a bit chillier there than Mexico it seems," Auther takes another sip from his drink.

"Oh," Luna sipped at her drink, "That seems bueno."

"Yeah, winters could get bad but the summers were always nice, I enjoyed Autumn the most though. Harvest." Auther smiles at the fond memories.

Luna shuddered slightly at the mention of harvest, "Th-that s-seems n-nice."

Auther notices her change in demeanour, "Are you alright? Sorry, was it something I mentioned?"

Luna's eyes grew wide, "No-no-no-nono, it's n-nothing!"

"If you insist, how about you pick a subject of conversation," Auther, very very subtly, changes the topic.

Luna shook her head, "Ummmm………………………… Colores?"

"Colours? Sure, what's you favourite colour?"

"Azul?" Luna said.

"Azul, that's blue, isn't it?" Auther asks, he had been taught Spanish from older sister who had moved there when he was 6.

Luna nodded, "Yes."

"Lovely colour," Auther nods, "I also enjoy the hue of blue, but personally I prefer yellow."

“Yellow i-is a pretty color,” Luna nods in agreement.

Auther takes another sip, letting silence slip over them. He quickly glances around the room and when he notices Iemon he gives him a little nod of acknowledgement.

Iemon decides to get up and go over to him. "Look," He says, eyeing the girl. "Do you know anyone who is in need of a hard worker?"

"Around these parts? I have a few aquantances who own factories, they tend to have work available if that's the kind you're looking for,"Auther turns in his chair to face Iemon.

Luna didn't know what to say. She slowly shook her head.

Iemon nods. "I guess that will do. I'm kind of desperate….."
