@Fraust

Nathaniel was still asleep on the couch, his crumpled wings hanging on his back. Both were completely crushed, and one had a clear bullet wound. The bones were broken beyond repair, even for an angel. They would attempt to heal themselves, but they would heal in the wrong places.

@@RileyAnn

(I'm back!) Joan finished the healing potion–her special recipe known to heal nearly any wound– and went to wake the boy up.

@Fraust

"Mmm…" Nathaniel groaned softly as he opened his eyes, looking up at Joan. It took a lot of self control to keep quiet considering how much pain his crushed wings were causing him.

@@RileyAnn

"I am going to ask you three questions, then rub a potion on them that should fix them." He waited for him to show her he understood.

@Fraust

"All… alright?" Nathaniel sat up and grimaced, taking a moment to compose himself before looking back at Joan.

@@RileyAnn

"How long have your wings been like this?" She asked first. Joan still did not know the boys name, but wasn't too concerned.

@Fraust

"Um, as far as I know, it's been about 24 hours. Or a few days… I don't exactly know how long I was laying there. I don't think it could be any longer than a week, though."

@@RileyAnn

Wow, "Okay," She drawled slowly. "Are you still in pain?"

@Fraust

"Very much so, ma'am." Nathaniel said simply, but in a slightly strained voice. He was careful not to let his wings brush against anything lest it make them hurt more.

@@RileyAnn

"Don't call me ma'am, its weird," Joan stopped for a minute. "Okay, so I have two more not one. Are you a runaway Fallen, and what's your name kid?"

@Fraust

"I'm not a fallen; I'm just a… um… an angel who's fallen from the sky? I wasn't kicked out, anyways. I got shot down by a human. And my name is Nathaniel Tobias Windsor." Nathaniel bowed his head politely.

@@RileyAnn

"M'kay, nice to meet you. I'm Joan." Lucifer's daughter, is what she didn't say. She left swiftly to grab the potion off the stove and a rag.

@Fraust

Nathaniel watched her quietly, fidgeting with his hands anxiously as he glanced about the little hut. I wish Lloyd were here… he'd be able to bring me back home.

@@RileyAnn

When Joan returned she slowly helped Nash–she didn't know why she called him that, it was just nice– sit up. "I'm going rub this on your wings, and it help realine and heal the bones. The feathers I can't promise, but it should work. Bite this, this will hurt." She handed him a leather stopper she had on the table and without much ramble she started pushing on bones to make them fall into the right place.

(The dreaded 2018, its ur turn)

@Fraust

Nathaniel bit down hard on the leather, tensing up immediately. The pain was near unbearable, and it was all he could do the stay on the couch and keep relatively quiet. How on earth could this possibly be helping?!

@@RileyAnn

Once Joan had put everything back where it needed to be, she rubbed the potion across the wings. Removing the leather, she waited to see if he wasn't going to scream.

@Fraust

Nathaniel bit his lip to keep from crying out, looking up at Joan with tears stinging his eyes. He was breathing heavily and appeared to be trembling. Is it working? It still feels like my wings are on fire…

@Fraust

(Hello?)

@@RileyAnn

Joan coated his wings. Nash was tearing up. "Here, drink this." Joan handed Nash a glass of water she had on her table. "They will heal, don't worry."

@@RileyAnn

(Hello, sorry I disappeared)

@Fraust

Nathaniel did as he was told, just trying to ignore the pain for the time being. Hopefully she’s right… maybe it’ll actually work?

@@RileyAnn

(I am soooooooo sorry for not replying sooner!!!!!) An hour passed, two. Slowly–so slowly– Joan watched her potion seep into Nash. She tried to distract him with questions, knowing it was a touchy subject to ask about his wings–she wasn't daft.

@Fraust

Nathaniel could feel the bones slowly mending themselves, but something seemed… off. The pieces were mending with other pieces they shouldn't mend with, and his wings weren't healing properly. He wasn't sure whether to tell Joan this or not.

@@RileyAnn

Joan moved a hand over Nash's wings, she knew her wings were of the same basic structure; her hand caught on a bone doing something wrong. Frowning, she said, "This will hurt." In preparation before snapping it the other way. There, she thought, all better.

@Fraust

“Ah!” Nathaniel flinched, clutching his wing. What did she have to do that for? They still feel wrong, anyways. I think the bones in the main part of the wing are wrong, too…

@@RileyAnn

Joan thought it looked okay, at least once it healed. If there were anymore errors in the healing she couldn't see them. "Hey, Nash, your wings look good. Can you feel any mistakes, if there are I need to fix them fast."
