The morning came too early. The stars had begun to disappear and Joan was up. Where's Will? Joan's mind fixed on that one question as she got ready. Once she had changed into a sweater and jeans, she had started searching the castle.
(Even Idk where Will is. XD)
(He's in the castle, he had disapeared a while ago)

Will wondered aimlessly down the freakishly long corridors.
Joan caught up to him nearly an hour after she started looking. "Sup," She yelled down the hall. Walking to catch up.
(GTG and I don't think I'll be back.)

Nathaniel woke up in Joan's room, alone. He panicked a bit, but calmed down since he knew there were other people in the house. He could be alone in a room if other people were in the vicinity, but he couldn't be all alone. He feared being alone, which was why he reacted so strongly to being abandoned in the woods, if only for a few moments.
"How you doing? Where did you sleep?" Joan asked Will as she caught up.
(I'm gonna go)
"Joan? Where are you?" Nathaniel got up and quietly left the room, hoping that he hadn't been left by himself. He knew that Joan had been here the previous night, and he didn't think she'd really have any reason to leave, so she was likely still here somewhere. "Joan?"
(Will's turn)
Will turned to Joan, "umm. I don't think that I did sleep."
(Hello?)
(Hey guys…. I'm in a boatload of trouble with my family. No electronics for about ???? months or even years.)
(Hi, that sucks) "Wll, come on then," Joan grabbed Will's hand and started leading him back to her tower.
"who are you, and why do you feel the need to protect me? I can handle myself." Layla asked, staring at the winged man questioningly.
"Joan? Are you there?" Nathaniel was started to get panicked after receiving no response.
"Yeah, I'm here!" Joan called out once she reached the top. Will was unusually silent behind her, offering no opinion as she spoke, "I went off to find where Will was hiding."
"Okay." Nathaniel breathed a sigh of relief. "I was beginning to think you'd left me here!"
"Nope," Joan yelled, popping the P. She fiddled with her hair a tad bit, before shoving the door open.
Nathaniel followed Joan back into the room and sat in the fort, picking up his book again and beginning to read.
