(I've got to go for the day. I'll reply when I get back)
Angels, Demons and Humans// Open!
(Okey dokey)
Cicada chuckled softly at Nikki’s attitude. The mortal wouldn’t get everything she wanted on a silver platter.
She took a sip of the water, glaring at Cicada. She decided she would just ignore the knot, for she was too lazy to go and deal with it.
Cicada sent a quick smile over at Nikki, "Having fun over there?"
"Shut up" she replied, turning her back to her. She wasn't very good at being intimidating, but she was good at being a bitch.
"Is someone mad at me?" Cicada sounded like she was talking to a baby. Or a puppy.
"I said…shut. up." she replied, rolling her eyes even if she couldn't see it.
"Someone is mad!" Cicada quietly stood up and made her way closer to Nikki.
She rolled her eyes loudly, sighing as well. She placed both hands on the counter, looking at the furnishings on the cabinets.
Cicada snuck up behind Nikki hugging the mortal from behind. She moved some hair and kissed Nikki's neck softly.
"S-stop it. If you didn't want to in the first place why are you trying to get me worked up?" she asked, trying to escape from her grasp
Cicada laughed and let go of Nikki, "Because your adorable when your all flustered like this."
She sighed again, clearly pissed off. She walked over to the blanket perched on the counter, unwrapping it and going over to the hammock, laying down and pulling the blanket over her.
Cicada watched Nikki amused as she leaned back against the counter, "Are you mad at me Nik?"
"Stop calling me that" she spat, turning over in the hammock, tugging the blanket up further on her body.
Cicada was not expecting that, "Aww, but why not?"
"That's what my brother used to call me" she replied, trying to hide the cracks in her voice.
"Oh," Cicada went quiet. The little one still had to grieve for the death of her brother, "Well I'll just call you Ik then."
"Yea, cuz I'm disgusting" she replied, laughing to herself slightly as a tear fell down her cheek.
"You're not disgusting," Cicada said walking over, not to mess with the young girl, but to comfort her, "You're beautiful. Do you need some time alone?"
"No, don't leave" she replied, letting the blanket fall off her shoulder slightly.
Cicada nodded and sat on the hammock next to Nikki, "Okay. I'm right here if you need me."
She nodded faintly, smiling softly when she felt the weight on the hammock shift to her. She let a few more tears slip before wiping them away.
Cicada smiled and started to pet Nikki's hair. She just wanted for Nikki to calm down.
She smiled softly, her shattered breathing beginning to become more even
Cicada started humming just loudly enough so that Nikki could hear.
Nikki soon settled into a slumber, no noises other than her breathing and Cicada's humming could be heard. She was tired, she hadn't slept in days
Cicada let out a slight sigh and a smile. She leaned down and kissed Nikki's forehead before going to her own hammock. She laid back and shut her eyes being completely calm.
(Time skip?)
(Sure.)
