He would apologize, that was for certain, but a "sorry" wouldn't fix jack shit. And afterwards? Legend wasn't naive, he didn't expect to just instantly be forgiven for hurting someone. He didn't know how much harm he'd actually caused, but he got the feeling that there was something else that he wasn't aware of. Not that it was his business.
