(What?)
Angsty angst (closed for now)
(don't worry I'm not just gonna randomly be like 'and then he chucked himself off the roof') Kaz kissed him back, smiling a little to himself. In the distance, he almost didn't hear the almost silent whir of helicopter blades, and downstairs the noise of the bar kept anyone else from hearing it
He hooked his fingers in his pant loops and pulled him up against him. He nipped softly at his bottom lip. He smiled softly
Kaz made a noise, but then he broke away. Something was coming towards them. "I think we-" There was a loud crashing noise as the glass wall behind them shattered in a small explosion, the noise of the impact causing their ears to ring
Kaden quickly spun Kaz out of the way. He shielded Kaz with his body. "What the hell is that?" He asked hoarsely.
Kaz opened his mouth to respond, but he was unable to before one of the guards in white from before yanked Kaden away from him. Kaz made a small noise of panic, veins of black shooting up his neck. The guard grabbed him, but an arc of bright purple-blue electricity shocked him away from them
Kaden slammed his elbow back, trying to get away. "Kaz!" He yelled for him. He concentrated hard enough and the shards of table impaled on the guard holding him.
Kaz felt himself start to hyperventilate. He blinked a couple times before rubbing at his eyes, but in his panic they had turned black and white. He looked over at the helicopter that was hovering silently a few yards from the broken wall, and then at the two guards making their way towards Kaden. Before he could stop himself, an anger that spread like poison flashed through him. He stood up, focusing on the two headed for Kaden. He made a small gesture with his head, and the two dropped to the ground as bright purple electricity pulsed through them
Kaden pulled out his knife. He began to run at the two guards when purple electricity hit them. He skidded to a stop and looked back at his almost lover. If only they had waited so Kaden could have bed him. But life wasn't fair.
Kaz's eyes widened as more guards poured into the room. He glanced over at Kaden. Gods, life couldn't leave him alone for one day? He looked back at the helicopter, which was now hovering dangerously close to the building. Suddenly, he got an idea. "Move!" he shouted to Kaden before rushing the guards, arcs of purple lightning bolting from his body. All the guards that stood too close were electrocuted, and enough of them were out of the way so that he could jump into the helicopter
Kaden moved out of the way. Whatever Kaz was going to do, he had to trust him. He drove his knife into the gut of a guard. He sent a heavy book at the head of another. His eyes widened as he watched Kaz jumped. What the hell was he doing?!
Kaz broke into a run and jumped like his life depended on it. Which, considering they were three floors up, kinda did. He landed inside the helicopter's open doors, startling the few guards left on the craft. He looked back over at Kaden before turning to run into the cockpit and dig clawed hands into the control panel. Bright purple electricity arced around the craft, killing all the people still on it and causing the engine to explode. The craft spluttered, and Kaz closed his eyes before it crashed into the ground
"No! Kaz!" He shoved away a guard then went at a full speed. He jumped off the side of the building. If he landed just right the impact wouldn't kill him, though he would be bruised and may even have a broken bone or two. He didn't care. It was worth it, for he had become attached to Kaz without meaning to.
The helicopter crashed front first before turning to the side. Kaz felt himself get thrown against the pilot seat before his head got slammed through the windshield. The helicopter rolled over onto its side, and Kaz slid unconscious and bleeding to the ground
Kaden rolled as he slammed into the earth. He felt a rib or two crack and there would be numerous bruises. He carefully moved to Kaz's side and cupped his cheeks. "Kaz, wake up. Kaz!"
Kaz groaned, blinking through the blood on his face. One of the lenses of his glasses had shattered, and his head pounded and screamed at him. His arm felt broken, and so did a couple of his ribs, but he ignored it to look up at Kaden. "H-Hey perv."
//I was gonna have Chandra run out but nah
angst is good
(well you could still have her run to the helicopter and be like 'wHaT tHe FkUk)
//lmao, I’ll do that
Chandra burst out from the bar, lamp held in front of her. “What the fuck! I decide to have a good night and this happens?” She attempted to peer through fire.
Kaz winced at the sound of Chandra yelling outside of the helicopter. He couldn't quite make out what she was saying and his brain felt like it was tearing itself apart. He could feel something dark and ugly creeping its way through his brain and he did his best to ignore it. He tried and failed to move before realizing his leg was caught in the ruins of the pilot's seat
She glanced around before switching off the light, features shifting into a grotesque demon. Solid red eyes (no pupils or whites), dark and scaly skin, red bay wings. Thankfully, she would only freak people out - consciousness was a thing, of course. There were no real demons around which was even better - they could exert a small amount of control through her. She walked through the flames and poked her way into the copter.
Kaz tried to wipe at his face, his palm coming away covered in red and black blood. He frowned at it. His vision was blurry and it kept coming in and out of focus
“Kaz?” She asked. “Kaden? What happened?”
"Hey darling." He whispered and kissed his forehead. "Let's get you out of here yeah?" He asked
(sorry, was taking a test.)
(np) Kaz giggled a little. "Ya called me darlin'," he said, looking up at Kaden and trying to focus on his face despite the fact that there were four of him in his vision
He gently stroked his cheek. He looked up at the girl. "We have to get moving. They'll be back with reinforcements soon. Let's not be here when they are."
She nodded and picked Kaz up. “This body will probably do better than yours,” she said. “Let’s go - I have to get out of this soon.”
