Silver hissed at the rabbit. He was taunting her, whenever she jumped at him, the snow rabbit quickly hopped in the other direction. It was either that she was bad at hunting, or he was very smart. Silver hoped it was the last. She heard paw-steps in the snow behind her, and a fox leaped at the rabbit from behind Silver. It was Frost, he sliced at the rabbit so the snow around it became red. "How many times do I have to tell you? That's not how you hunt!" He scolded her.

Riot looked around, his brown eyes darting from one place to another. He bared his teeth, dashing after the rabbit, his long legs helped, he easily caught up to it and snapped at it, killing it swiftly. He held it in his mouth, the blood covering his muzzle as he stalked back to his home by the river.

"I'm hunting MY way." Silver picked the corpse up with her jaws, and they both raced back to the den, snow crunching under their paws.
"We're back." Frost said, as they entered. He'd managed to catch a fish from an unfrozen stream on the way there. The den was cold, as usual. They laid the food in a corner while Blue raised her head from a nap. "So soon? I thought you'd take more time, with Silver helping." Silver swatted her, playfully, although still shivering.

Riot lay on the river bank, he was full from his meal and had just finished cleaning his paws. His large ears twisted, pointing in opposite directions as he stood up, stretching his long legs.
(Well, duh. :D)
They split the prey into three, and ate. Silver finished first, and announced, "I'll go for a walk. And I promise not to get into any more trouble." The others nodded, only half-listening to what she was saying. Silver took this as a yes, and bounded out of the den, to get water from the same stream. She drank from it, then sat nearby to digest her meal. (And now, the stuff happens.)

Riot's eyes narrowed as he sniffed the air. He followed the scent trail back to the river. He spotted a smaller creature, that,looked like a maned wolf, but was way to short to be one.
He bit back a growl as he stalked silently behind her, unsheathing his claws. He pounced on top of her, his red fur puffing up to make himself look even bigger than he already was.
"What are you doing in my territory?" He roared, easily pinning and holding her down.

Silver heard something move behind her. Suspecting nothing but Frost or Blue, (more likely Frost, since Blue rarely left the den) she didn't move. But it wasn't Frost.
The next thing she knew, something was restraining her. Correction: someone, demanding what she was doing in their territory.
"I'm drinking water. This is the only river that's close to my den." Silver replied, in what she hoped was a calm voice, while really she was screaming inside. She tried to pry the animal's claws off of her.
