"Er, yes." Trenna straightened herself and tried to look confident. "My father is a merchant sailor from insert desert-y nation here, and he sent me here to seek out a trading permit. He is currently injured from a storm at sea, and our ship too is in bad condition, so I'm also asking for permission to dock in your harbor for a few weeks, if that's alright with your majesty."

Natalie nodded. "There is a section of docks specifically for merchants and sailors who are in need of a place to stay." She gave the girl the directions to the dock she needed to go to.

"Thank you!" Trends bowed, and turned to leave. But she hesitated, and said, "How do I get out of here?"
Natalie laughed. "Let me take you."

Alicia watched the royals and the advisor exasperatedly. They were hanging out of trees, for goodness' sake! She strode over to them, about to reprimand, when a lone figure wandered into the garden. Natalie went over to her.
"Sir, you should think about going to get ready for the presentation." Alicia pointed out, keeping an eye on Natalie. (talking to Cadmus)
"Yes, please!" Jonah exclaimed, exasperated.

Alicia nudged the prince. "Get ready for the presentation." she reminded, stifling a grin. She shot telling glances to everyone else.
Natalie caught Alicia's eye and giggled. She covered her mouth and turned away, so that Jonah wouldn't notice. She was so excited! This was going to be fun.
"Yes, please don't mess things up. It'll be my hide they're after if you mess up." Jonah stressed, flicking his hair out of his eyes.

Alicia grabbed Lenore and Natalie's hands and dragged them inside as gracefully as she could. "The maids will be waiting with your dresses. " she giggled. "I'll run off and also get changed, and then we'll meet in the hall to prep for the party." she clarified.

Natalie put her arm around her sister. "Come on, Lenore! It'll be fun! I can't wait to see the look on Jonah's face!" But knowing her sisters anxiousness and dislike of parties, she whispered in Lenore's ear, "I'll cover your escape half-way through the party."
Cadmus snickered as he walked down the stairs. How had he gotten in the house, much less upstairs, and in so little time.
"I can help you ladies with that, eh?" He offered.
Natalie let out a little yelp. "Cadmus!!" She slapped his shoulder. "Don't sneak up on us like that!!"

"Sorry about that." He said, sincerely. He sat down on the stairs, and ran a hand through his hair.
