Ferran slipped out the porch door and down the street. He went up to a house and found the window he was looking for. He picked up a small pebble and threw it at the glass.

Alice heard the small click of the pebble hitting the window, and looked outside, signaling she would be down as soon as she could. Runuing down the stairs, she shouted to her foster parents that she was going out. "What is it?" she asked Ferran, having finally arrived outside.

"I just wanted to talk." He said, smiling. "How are you doin?"

"Good…" She looked at him. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Well…it's been awhile now…" He started.

She sighed. "I just don't know if it's a good idea."

"Are we just gonna leave them to die?" Ferran asked. "My conscience couldn't handle that…"
