“What am I not terrified about? Our whole world is falling apart, and it turns out that my closest friend was… is in love with me, if I read that right. And I’m emotionally unavailable and can’t even protect her,” Cyrus said, turning away. His heart hurt.

“Well the fact that your opening up to me shows that you are in fact emotionally available. Besides I’m sure that your friend would understand if you decided to take a mental health day once or twice.” She said staring at the forest

Meanwhile, Krista was chilling on a bed in the bunker. She was currently doing weapon checks

Alex shot a quick glance at Luna "so…"

Luna looked back at him, "So what?"

He shrugged "I don't know…"

"Okay," Luna went back to setting up camp.

Alex helped pitch the tents feeling the stress weigh on his shoulders.

Luna normally enjoyed silence. She reveled in it, but not this. It felt too tense and stressful.

his hands were shaking as he put the stakes into the ground, the silence was deafening.

"Stop shaking," Luna broke the silence, "It's bugging me."

"Sorry…" Alex stopped shaking "Just a little tense."

"And why would that be?"

"Well I'm setting up a tent with a person I know who hates me."

"When did that happen?"

"Now…? I know you despise me."

"How do you know that?"

"The way you look at me, I can see the anger in your eyes."

(I seriously don't know why Luna hates Alex. I can't remember.)
