“It’s a shame that’s all it took for you,” Cyrus sighed, “I would do anything to preserve our relationship. You’re amazing, Sparrow, and you deserve so much more credit than I give you. I’m sorry, if that’s even worth anything.”
“You know it’s hard.” She laughed darkly “having to wake up each morning not knowing if your best friend was gonna come home. It was hard when panther sent us on separate missions and I didn’t know wether or not you’d come back. The last solo mission you went on, you came back bloody and beaten. I almost died seeing you limp on the Hospital bed, getting treatment.” She looked back at him, tears in her eyes but her face still dry. “Your not the only one whose scared of showing emotions. I’ve realized now that it’s better to keep them bottled up. Releasing them brings more heartache, then hiding them does. Thank you for this lesson comrade. I hope to see you around.” She said and started walking to the left of the bunker, wanting to get away from everything for a while
