Earl leaned against the counter, polishing one of the many knives adorning the kitchen walls. "I'll need you for a mission later." He said absentmindedly.

(Ah, brb, gotta make myself dinner)

"What mission? Man I thought I was done with those." Tessa commented

"Not you silly!" Earl looked up. "The knife! I'll need it!"

Tessa gave Earl a weird look before shaking her head and walking away.

Xavier, who was sitting at the kitchen table reading, frowned. "Why do you like knives so much anyway?" he asked Earl.

Earl stared at him like he had sprouted radishes out of his ears. "Uh….why don't you? They're awesome!" He held the knife up. "And shiny…."

Tessa had come back with her phone. "Earl has officially gone insane." She mumbled as she tapped the screen.

"I agree." said Xavier, returning to his book.

"I'm not crazy! You are!"

"We should call you the Mad Knifer or something." She replied and sat down next to Xavier.

Xavier thought for a moment. "No," he finally said, "That sounds lame."

Earl nodded. "Thank you! That would have been bad for my career!"

"Just an idea though, you know because he's mad and losing his insanity." She leaned against the chair and pulled up a website. Her fingers flew across the screen as she search up some cool names.

"I'd rather just be called Earl or Cavalier!"

"That's good then, because we do call you Earl."

"Well she doesn't!" He pointed at Tessa with the knife.

"What I do. I'm just coming up with a new name for you." She teased.
