Eclipse sighed, "I figured as much," he said softly, not liking this one bit. "Just how bad do you think it is?"

"I don't know." Errol replied softly, still looking at the far. "He…they destroyed him in just about every way they could think of. Mentally, physically…sexually…" he shook his head, letting out a breath. "I hate to say this, but he isn't fit to rule anytime soon." he glanced at Eclipse. "And I will help him as much as I can, but…he's going to need space, and time, and…and we need to find Seren and end this once and for all. Usually I wouldn't endorse violence, but in this case…"

Eclipse nodded, "I was thinking I keep Nik close to me for the time-being. I know Tesh isn't in the greatest shape, but I don't think it would be good for him to be on his own." he sighed, "Before that, we'll have to get him to choose a strong regent for Kevra, possibly even a new ruler… And then we can find Seren and make him pay for what he's done."
"Kevra…" Errol drummed his fingers for a moment. "Lieze can serve as regent. She might have a temper and a mouth on her, but she's quick, intelligent, and she would be…if not happy to work with Tesh, she's willing to stand in for Nikolas for as long as is necessary. Aron can't do it, he freezes up in large crowds, and neither Ryker nor I would be a good choice."

Eclipse nodded, "Then we'll leave her in charge, since she's already doing a fair job of it." he said softly, "and hopefully Nik can someday recover enough to take his place."
Errol nodded a little. "Yes. Probably a sound plan." He replied. He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "I'm sorry about all this."

"What in the world are you sorry for?" asked Eclipse.
"I don't know." Errol shrugged. "Anyways. If Nik is going with you, then Ryker, Aron, and I are all coming too."

"Fine by me, I wouldn't mind having you three around, though I respect that your command still belongs with Nik." he hummed, making sure the other was aware that Eclipse wasn't gonna pull rank on him.
Errol nodded. "Alright. Thank you, for that." his mouth twitched in a faint smile, then he sighed. "Nikolas is going to need a lot of patience."

"I'm willing to give it to him, I just hope he can figure out how to heal.." he said softly.
Errol nodded again. "Good. And we'll be here for the both of you." he said.

Errol sighed. "Any questions?" he asked, brushing his hand along his leg.

"Any." Errol replied, looking at him. "I'll answer what I may."

Eclipse sighed, "How long do you think it'll take for Nik to recover physically?" he asked softly.

Errol hesitated. "I don't know. It depends on how receptive his body is to my healing." He replied, looking at Eclipse. "It really depends."

Eclipse nodded, "What would happen if we combined auras?" he asked, "My own abilities are dream and healing based… and I want to help in any way possible…"
"What, you mean you and me?" Errol asked, raising his eyebrows. "That…I don't know what that would do."

Eclipse nodded, "Noted, probably a bad idea" he said softly, still wracking his brain for other ways to help Nik get better.
Errol nodded, and pursed his lips, thinking. "Don't treat him like glass or like he'll break, alright? Be gentle, yes, but don't…" He trailed off. "Don't lie to him or hide the truth."

"I wasn't planning on doing that…" said Eclipse softly, "If I have to tell him something, then it has to be said, better to be aware than ignorant."
Errol nodded. "Yeah. Aron found his cane, by the way. So…once he's well enough to walk, he'll still have that."

"Do you think he really will recover enough to walk?" he asked, having been unsure that would happen.
Errol hesitated. "I don't know. It depends on his leg and how well it heals. He'll never have the mobility of movement that he used to have, though."

Eclipse nodded, "I knew that, but given just the first of what they had to have done to it…." he sighed, "It'll be a near miracle."
Errol nodded. "Yeah." he agreed softly. "Which…that'll be hard for him. It really will." he shook his head a little.
