Ryuu flew faster than he had before, trying to get Robin away from the fight.

Even if he had wanted to, Robin couldn't move. It was a strange sensation, something caused by him being held by his scruff immobilized him. (That's a real effect btw, it helps for mother animals to carry their babies easier :D)

Ryuu landed and set Robin on the ground. He curled his long body around Robin protectively and looked around for any threats.

Robin nestled himself against Ryuu's tough scales, looking over the dragon's tail warily.

"Don't worry, Robin, I won't let anything touch you," Ryuu comforted.

"Are they gonna stop?" The kitten glanced up at Ryuu. He was incredibly small next to him, but he wasn't worried about it.

"I hope so," Ryuu said and growled at anything that came close.

Robin flinched whenever he saw a bird fly by, thinking they were Mortuum. Eventually, he just lay down and close his eyes. If I can't see it, it's not there… everything's fine…

Ryuu started to walk closer to Robin so his scales rubbed against Robin's soft fur, hoping it would calm the small kitten down.

He purred a bit. I think I heard this is called 'petting'? For pet animals, usually… I dunno. He rubbed his head against Ryuu, stretching his paws out in front of himself.

Ryuu smiled when Robin started rubbing against him. When a bird came into view, without seeing what it was, he shot lightning at it, killing it on the spot.

Robin hardly noticed the bird, but was slightly startled by the lightning. It's fine… you're safe…

"Ah, sorry, I thought that was something that was going to hurt you," Ryuu ran to grab the bird and ran back to Robin, not wanting to leave him for even a minute, "If you're hungry, you can go ahead and have the bird if you're hungry," he offered.

"Er, okay." He took a bite of the bird. This tastes different than the other meat… He sniffed it. Is it because it's cooked? Not bad different, just… different.

The burning evening sun, burned Kiranimi as she trotted through the desert, heading towards the Deathscape.
