Kasey took another drink of her water before setting the glass down. She glanced over at Liam and smiled.
"Something on your mind?" she asked.

“Not particularly, no.” He said quietly, looking up at her with a smile, “You?”

"Just glad to hear your voice again," Kasey said, kissing his cheek.
Liam rolled his eyes a little, “Even if I sound like an old man.”

"You don– Well, okay, kinda…" Kasey trailed off with a lift laugh.
“Mhm.. I do. I also feel like an old man.” Liam said, chuckling a little.

"Why do you feel like an old man?" Kasey asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.
“This sickness, the nerve damage. I feel so old.” He muttered with a sigh.

"Would a massage help?" Kasey asked. "Harper says that I give the best massages."
“I mean… maybe? I’ve never had a massage before.” Liam admitted.

Kasey lifted her head from his shoulder and smiled at him.
"Well, if you want me to give you one, I would gladly do it," she offered.
“A-Are you sure? If it’s not to much trouble on you then, yeah…” Liam gave her a small smile.

"It's no trouble at all," Kasey assured him with a smile. "Just roll over onto your stomach, and I'll start."
Liam nodded and rolled onto his back with a grunt, pulling his arms under his chin.

Kasey hummed as she started kneading Liam's back with the heels of her palms. She changed form doing that to using her thumbs to work at his shoulders, pressing fairly hard but not hard enough that it would hurt.
"Let me know if I need to let up on the pressure," she murmured as she worked at his mid back with her palms.
Liam hummed his acknowledgment and closed his eyes as he let Kasey do her thing. It felt nice, he had to admit and was glad Kasey offered.

(Oof, man, I made myself want a massage… My friend gives pretty good massages – and apparently I do, too? – so we just give a massage for a massage.)
Kasey worked out a few knots around his shoulders, then worked her way down his spine using her thumbs to put pressure on each side of it. She hesitated before deciding to just move back up rather than go down his lower back.

It was all going fine and Liam didn’t have any trouble with what Kasey was doing but at one point she hit one painful spot on his back and he winced, his back arching a little.

Kasey withdrew her hands with a grimace. "Sorry. I'll be more careful."
“No, no it’s fine, Kasey.” Liam said, relaxing back down again.

"Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you," Kasey murmured as she went back to working on his mid back just below his shoulders.
Liam nodded, “I’m sure, don’t worry.”

"M'kay…" Kasey mumbled. She rubbed the base of his neck, then up his neck to his head. After that, she kneaded his shoulder blades, putting pressure on them, but still being careful.
Liam didn't have anymore trouble with what she was doing and relaxed a little further, enjoying the feeling of the once tense muscles now relaxed. He let out a small, content sigh.

Kasey smiled.
"Am I doing okay?" she asked, though she assumed she was from Liam's content-sounding sigh.

Liam nodded, "Yeah, this feels great, thank-you."

"It's no problem. If you ever need a massage, just come over and ask, and I'll give you one if I'm free," Kasey offered.
"Yeah, okay. Thank-you for that." Liam muttered, looking over his shoulder to give her a smile.

Kasey smiled. "And you think I have a problem with thanking people too much," she teased as she rubbed his shoulders again.
Liam rolled his eyes and groaned a little, "Yeah yeah, I know." He replied.
