"Hm… Interesting," Kasey murmured, chewing on her lip.
"How is that interesting?" Liam asked, resting his head in his hand.

Kasey shrugged. "I dunno. It was just something to say."
Liam chuckled, "True, turns out we're very awkward people."

"Yeah… We are," Kasey chuckled.
Liam sighed and smiled at her, "Oh well, nothing we can do about that."

"Nope," Kasey grinned before pecking him on the lips. "Nothing we can do."
"If only there was some magical cure of it." Liam mused with a sigh.

"Mmhm," Kasey hummed in agreement, grinning at him.
Liam grinned back, “What’s the best part of being a super?”

Kasey half sighed and half groaned as she looked up.
"Um… Maybe getting to help people? That's really great. Especially seeing their eyes light up when they see you, and they visibly gain hope. They just look so happy to see me sometimes," she ended with a happy sigh, her eyes holding a shine that didn't come often.
Liam smiled softly at her, “It sounds great.”

"It is great," Kasey agreed softly as she looked back at him.
Liam ran his hand through her hair gently, letting it rest on her cheek, "I'm glad you do what you do, helping people out. I wish more people were as good hearted as you."

"If they were I'd be out of a job," Kasey joked. "But it would be nice."
Liam sighed a little and nodded, “Yeah that’s true.”

Kasey smiled and leaned into his hand for a moment before she patted it gently with her own. She took his hand and intertwined their fingers as she looked down at them with a smile.
“What are you smiling at now? Liam asked, cracking a smile of his own at Kasey.

Kasey shrugged and looked up at him. "I just enjoy your company."
“And I enjoy yours.” He smiled softly down at her.

"I'm glad," Kasey said gently. "It'd be bad if you didn't enjoy your girlfriend's company."
“Same goes if you didn’t enjoy your boyfriend’s company.” Liam chuckled a little.

"That is true," Kasey agreed with a chuckle.
Liam smiled, “What are you studying at school? I don’t think I‘ve ever asked.”

Kasey blushed and bit her lip, looking back down at their intertwined hands.
"Computer engineering…" she mumbled.
Liam’s eyes lit up, “Really? That’s so cool!”

Kasey looked up at him through her eyelashes, a shy smile tugging at her lips. "Really?"
Liam nodded, “Really. I think that’s really cool.”

"Thanks, Liam. That means a lot to me," Kasey said softly.
