"Hm? Oh yeah." Liam pulled out a jar, squinted at it before putting it back and grabbing another and walking over to place it beside the plates.

"You okay?" Kasey asked, giving him a concerned look.
"Oh, yeah. Just don't have my glasses." Liam explained, shrugging.

"What happened to them?" Kasey asked, tilting her head. The toaster dinged, and she jumped before spinning around and taking the toast out.
"Lost 'em somewhere and haven't had time to grab a new pair." Liam said, grabbing a knife out for the jam.

"Huh. You should probably do that before you get hurt." Kasey handed Liam a plate of toast, holding the second for herself. She grabbed a jar of Nutella and a knife and limped over to the table.
"Probably." Liam sighed a little and grabbed the jam and the knife, as well as his plate and followed.

Kasey slid into a chair with a sigh, setting her things down. "I need crutches. Why didn't Madi give my crutches…?"
"You could always ask Harper to get Madi to bring some." Liam suggested, slipping into a chair and opening the jam.

"True, very true," Kasey agreed with a nod as she opened the Nutella and stuck her knife in.
Liam chuckled a little and finished spreading the jam before taking a bite, "Thanks for making the toast."

"You're welcome," Kasey said, smiling up at him for a moment before finishing spreading Nutella on her toast. "Thank you for eating the toast."
Liam smiled back and took another bite, "No problem, it's good toast."

"Well good. I'm glad. I worked real hard on it," Kasey joked before taking a pretty large bite of her own toast.
Liam chuckled a little, "Mhm… I can tell."

"Do you know how much effort it takes to put bread in the toaster, wait for it to toast, and then take it out of the toaster?" Kasey chuckled after finishing her bite.
"Yes, I do. Because I do it most mornings." Liam replied before taking another bite of toast.

"Do you really only eat toast most mornings?" Kasey asked, taking another bite of her toast.
Liam shook his head, "Nah, I eat it when I want. But yes, most mornings."

"Hm. You should come over and let me make you breakfast every once in a while," Kasey suggested. "Or more than that… Whatever's fine with me."
Liam smiled, "I should just move in at this rate." He joked, taking the last bite of his toast.

"I thought it was the other way around," Kasey half-joked back with a smile, remembering how he'd actually offered that for after she quit her job.
"That works too." Liam replied, leaning back in his chair.

"I mean, we practically spend all day with each other anyway, so it wouldn't change much. Plus, then we wouldn't have to walk all the way across the hall to visit. And Harper can just rent out this apartment instead of the one next door. Also, I could make you breakfast more often," Kasey rambled, blushing slightly.
Liam smiled softly at her and leaned forward, "All of that is true and you're adorable when you blush."

Kasey froze and clamped her mouth shut, looking down as her blush deepened. "Shuddup…"
Liam chuckled, "Nope. You're adorable and you can't stop that, or me telling you that."

Kasey rolled her eyes and finished off her toast silently, at an obvious loss for words.
Liam grinned the entire time and began to pack away the things on the table.

"So…" Kasey started quietly, breaking the silence as she stood. "Do you seriously want me to move in with you…?"
