Liam rolled his eyes playfully and nudged her, “Yeah yeah, I’ll go pay.” He gave her a wink before heading to the bar to pay.

Kasey chuckled softly as Liam walked away. He was such a great guy. She was lucky to have him, and very grateful of that, too.
Liam sighed a little and paid, p talking to his friend as he did so. He pulled the other into a small hug over the bar before heading back to Kasey, “You done with the brownie?”

“Yup. And I’m totally full now,” Kasey chuckled, standing up. “Are we good to go?”
Liam hummed his response, “You know it,” He winked, “Where’d ya wanna go now?”

“Um… What about the garden? We haven’t been there in forever,” Kasey suggested with a shrug.
Liam grinned with a nod, “Sure, that sounds great. We can go to our secret garden.”

“Remember when you invited me there? I think that’s when I first started falling in love with you,” Kasey said softly, smiling as she remembered the day.
“Really?” Liam gave her a smile, “Me too in all honestly.”

Kasey looked up at him, her smile soft and dreamy. “You were so cute… Also, I think we mentioned something about stargazing together?”
Liam’s eyes lit up, “Stargazing? Yes, yes, we’ll do that when it gets dark tonight.” He giggled a little and unlocked the car.

“Awesome! I’m excited,” Kasey giggled as she sat in her seat. “I actually wish it could just be tonight already.”
Liam nodded, “Yeah, the stars are always so gorgeous. One time, I took Luke out camping in the middle of nowhere just so we could see a meteor shower.”

“That was sweet of you. I bet he loved it,” Kasey said softly, smiling over at him.
Liam smiled back, “Yeah, he did. Practically dragged me out the city so we could see them again,” He chuckled and started the car, “Gosh he was a nightmare at times.”

Kasey chuckled with him and pulled her legs up onto her seat, crossing them. “Sounds like he was a cool kid.”
Liam snorted, “Cool? No way. He was the biggest geek I’ve ever met,” He laughed, “I caught him re-enacting a scene from new Voltron series pretending to be Keith and he fell on his butt halfway through. He slapped me for intruding on him. I wish you could have met him.”

“I wish I could have, too,” Kasey agreed softly. “I’m sure I would have loved him.”
“I sure you would have too,” Liam replied, “If he didn’t get on your nerves too much.”

“Oh, I’m sure he couldn’t have beat Harper in that category,” Kasey laughed. “Man, he was super annoying when we were growing up.”
Liam chuckled, “Okder brothers are the worst from what I’ve heard.”

"Well, I mean… He wasn't the worst… Just pretty annoying at times," Kasey said with a shrug. "Especially when he wouldn't let me do basically anything. I understand that now, though. He was just trying to protect me."
Liam nodded with a small sigh, “Yeah, I went through the same thing with Luke, the protective older brother thing.”

"Oh, I'm sure he just loved that," Kasey teased with a chuckle.
Liam laughed, “Hey now, he knew I was doing it to protect him.”

"That doesn't mean you didn't annoy him sometimes. I knew Harper was trying to protect me, but it was still annoying," Kasey explained with a shrug.
Liam nodded in understanding, “Yeah, I guess that’s true.”

"So… Where should we go stargazing?" Kasey asked, grinning over at him excitedly.
Liam thought for a few moments, “I know a spot… buuuuut we have to go camping to do so…”

Kasey's eyes lit up. "Camping? It's been forever since I last went camping… Could we? Please?"
