"Still poison," Belle muttered under her breath. It wasn't like they would listen, they were already into it. She, on the other hand, knew what it was like to grow up with a parent who got drunk and high whenever he could. At least he was gone, now. She didn't have to see him anymore.

Belle watched after the girl and her dog, a bit worried about them being alone out there. It wasn't exactly the safest place to be for an adult, so for a young teenager… She just hoped she would be okay.

Riverpaw stretched her arms once she got out, then sat against the building and watched Tsunami sniff around and bark at passing vehicles. I wish Papa was still here. Or Sky. Someone to talk to would be nice..
