"Thanks" He went to the Stairs and went to the third floor. When he got to the third floor he saw Nurse stone and walked over to her
"Lyla" he said
"Col! Wait why are you here, you better not be hurt." she said quickly
"I am fine, and stop acting like my mother."
"Excuse me but i am old enough to be your mother."
"Yeah I know." he sighed
"Why are you here."
"Aspen Barns, she is my friend"
"Oh, yes her room is down the hall."
"Yeah i know."
"Well i will see you later…" she said and started walking down the hall
After she walked away he walked over to Aspen's room.

As soon as the elevator door opened, Riverpaw quickly made her escape, stopping by a wall to take a few deep breaths and wait for Belle.

“Ok so she’s lost a lot of blood from the cut in her forehead and the cut on her leg. She broke her left leg bone and 2 ribs. Because of blood loss, she’s in a coma. We don’t know when she will wake up.” Dr. Brown explained

Meun stayed quiet. He looked up at August, Golden eyes wide as he did so. What was this woman talking about?

Eleanor sent Meun a mock-pitiful look. "Guess you're not important enough for your boyfriend to tell you, hmm?"

August stilled. "Meun, that's not true. Just- Just don't listen to her." He felt his phone buzz in his pocket, and he fished it out, ignoring the look that his sister sent him. He froze as soon as he read the text. "Meun, grab your stuff. Aspen's in the hospital, we need to go." He brushed past Eleanor, picking up his key from the floor.

Meun just about jumped to get up. He grabbed his things, pulling on a sweater before grabbing his phone and jogging to the door

August followed after him, only stopped when Eleanor grabbed him. He pulled his arm away roughly. "You can't just leave!" She all but shrieked.

"You know my answer, El. So yes, I can." August walked out and slammed the door behind him. He refused to look at Meun as he got on his bike.

Meun put his helmet on before climbing onto the bike behind August. He wasn’t going to ask about what the other was hiding. If August didn’t want to tell him, he would respect that. But he couldn’t seem to shake August’s sister’s words. Was he really not that important to August?

August drove toward the hospital, his mind racing. How had Eleanor even found him? He had covered his tracks well enough when he left. And he would have to explain it all to Meun too, which he wasn't particularity keen on. He finally pulled up at the entrance, pulling his helmet off quickly and rushing towards the front doors.

Meun chased after him, barely having time to take his helmet off before doing so. He really was worried, both about the accident and August

August walked up tot the desk, running a hand through his hair. "Uh, we're friends of Aspen Barnes? Can you tell us where she is?" He asked the receptionist. He turned to Meun. "Can you call Rigel? Ask him how this happened?"

Riverpaw held onto Belle as they made their way through the hall. She looked around and read the signs near the doors. 318…320…323… Riverpaw suddenly stopped, giving Belle's jacket a small tug, and she pointed to the door with 325 next to it.

Meun nodded before pulling out his phone. He quickly dialed before Rigel before putting his phone to his ear
