(here he is: let me know if I need to change anything!)
Name:: Fio Téon Alleva
Family House:: House Alleva
Family Sigil:: A white rose splattered with red, over a series of interlocking silver circles
Gender:: Male
Sexuality:: Pan, leans towards men
Open to ships?:: Hell yes
Age:: 2009 (Appears to be in his lower to mkd twenties)
Species:: Vampire
Personality:: Fio can be very quiet and reserved, and sometimes appears rather emotionless. He learned a long time ago that it is better to keep his emotions hidden deep within himself. As a result, he often chooses not to feel anything, and it takes someone or something quite special to awaken those hidden emotions from where they are hidden. He is very quick, and when he is scared or angry, he will either grow into far more of a jokester, or become even quieter and more withdrawn. He can be very ruthless when he has reason to, a fighter and good at it.
Appearance:: Fio is of about average height, if not a little taller, with a slim but well-muscled body. He has black, curly hair that is nearly impossible to tame on the best days. It is a bit on the long side, as well, hanging down to about the middle of his neck. He has brilliant green eyes that sometimes almost seem to glow in the dark sometimes. He has assorted scars all over his body, including one thin one going from just above his eyebrow, to the middle of his cheek. He has olive skin. He has tally marks tattooed on his hands, black lines. One for each kill he has ever done on his father's orders.
Talents:: Intelligent, so he's good at figuring things out (usually. Not always). An extremely good liar.
Flaws:: Impatient on occasion. Strong willed and stubborn. Sometimes can be cruel without meaning to. Can be logical to a fault, without taking others emotions into consideration.
Outfit:: Loose and dark, usually. He doesn't put a lot of thought into looking good unless it's a special occasion.
Weaponry/powers:: for a weapon, he wields either this dagger (https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/56wAAOSw~odcNnLH/s-l1600.jpg ) or a pair of pistols that he keeps hidden on his person at all times. His powers are the manipulation of gravity on both objects and living things. He can use this ability to make things heavier, lighter, or even weightless, and can also change what direction the gravitational pull is coming from. This requires an extreme amount of control, and if he lost control, he could create a black hole.
Background:: Fio's family, the Alleva's, originated from Italy. They have a tradition of, well…killing the children that are deemed unsatisfactory. "Unsatisfactory" is determined by the patriarch of the family. Troublesome, emotional, disobedient…the reason could be anything. At sixteen, each child is tested. If they are found to be unsatisfactory, they are killed. Even if they are found satisfactory, they are still in danger of being killed if they stop being so. Fio learned from an early age to be perfect. To follow the rules and never, ever step out of line. He had an older brother, two years older than himself. The brother fell in love with a human. He was deemed unsatisfactory, and killed on his sixteenth birthday. Fio himself was asked to carry out the killing, making the then fourteen year old essentially an only child. At sixteen, he was tested, and was only barely found satisfactory. He gained the scar in the fight that he had to wave to prove that he deserved to live. His own father, the patriarch, was the one to scar him. Later, when he was eighteen, he fell in love. He fell in love with another vampire boy, from a lesser family. His father might have been able to tolerate the relationship if the boy was from a higher House. His father might have been able to tolerate it if the boy had been a girl. But a boy, from a low family? Never. Fio's father had the boy executed, paying off the boy's family in recompense. He so gave Fio a new scar, a stab wound in his stomach. Fio has never fallen in love with anyone ever since, nor has he ever, ever dated to disobey his father. His family is also a House of killers, mercenary in their kills. They can be hired by many of the other powerful Vampire families, and they will carry out a kill without hesitation. Fio carries out the kills he is told to, without hesitation. He hesitated once, and was punished severely. He will not let it happen again.
Name:: Celeste Sanguinem
Family House:: House Sanguinem
Family Sigil:: A silver wolf
Gender:: Female
Sexuality:: Pansexual
Open to ships?:: Sure, why not
Age:: Around 1000, looks 21
Species:: Vampire
Personality:: Celeste is, well… complicated, to say the least. She can change her mood from happy to furious in the blink of an eye, often for reasons no one is even aware of. She's hyper-aware of the things around her, and very observant. She tries to act calm and cool, and usually succeeds. She doesn't like to socialize, and gets irritated very quickly if a person doesn't stop talking to her. She has a short temper, and her anger burns hot and quick. She is sarcastic and sharp-tongued, and can say things that she doesn't mean to say, and will hurt people. She is a fantastic liar, and no one really knows if she's lying or telling the truth. It takes her a while to open up to people, but when she gets to trust you, she is one of the most loyal friends you'll ever have. She can be very scary, when she wants to, and is incredibly dangerous. Sometimes.
Appearance:: She gives off a haunted-doll vibe, with her delicate features and high cheekbones. She is pretty, with long, wavy, dark blonde hair and porcelain-white skin. She has a small, petite frame, and is slender and curvy. Her limbs are strong, slender and full of muscle, and her eyes are a piercing golden amber. She has plump pink lips and dark eyelashes, making her look like she's always wearing makeup, and flawless skin. She has a tattoo of black wings unfurling on her back, and she's about 5'3''.
Talents:: Dance-fighting(exactly as it sounds), arguing, war strategy, driving people insane, wasting time, drawing, daydreaming, running, torture
Flaws:: She gets angry at the silliest things, judges people too much, doesn't ever forgive, doesn't let people in, sometimes gets queezy about kiling and hurts people.
Outfit:: Celeste usually wears knee-high black boots, skinny jeans, tank tops and dark-colored zip-up hoodies for casual clothing. She always wears a chain-link bracelet made of silver metal around her left wrist, and a silver ring with her family sigil. She always has a knife or two tucked into her boots. Her clothes are always in darker colors, and her dresses all have a dip in the back to show off her tattoo.
Weaponry/powers:: She has wind manipulation, which she can control about as much as her temper. She typically prefers to fight with swords or her family weapon, the scythe, but she fights well with twin swords, daggers, scythes, and poison, and all the other weapons not mentioned just don't make sense to her. She always carries around her two daggers, Vita and Mortem.
Background:: As the eldest daughter of an elite warrior-family, Celeste grew up learning to fight, plan wars, and train her body against attacks. She was one of the most brutal one of her siblings, although almost no one outside the family suspected it. Her parents provided her with the good training and powerful war-lords to teach her, and when she came of age, she became the heir to her house. When her younger siblings grew jealous of her power and tried to rebel, she eliminated almost all of them with one single hit, and they haven't tried to take her throne since. People have attempted to murder her, but it has never worked yet, and her family grown in wealth, fame and power.
Love the names of the daggers.
Thanks lol
(ah— Pyro–you're character seems a bit OP. Mind toning her down a lil bit?)
(I love all the characters lmao)
(FYI– im looking to start this over the weekend. So last minutes edits and peeps do your thing)
(Eriseroni? May I hop on in?)
(Yeah, sure, Eris. Sorry 'bout that.)
(go for it Reed. once you post your peep we will start)
(Alrighty! Sorry for vanishing off the face of the earth for a bit)
Name:: James Monroe Elxton (El-X-Ton)
Family House:: Elxton House
Family Sigil:: A crown covered by thorny vines
Gender:: Male
Sexuality:: Homosexual
Open to ships?:: No, sorry boys, he has a husband
Age:: He never does give his age, but most people assume he is a few hundred years, they are wrong.
Species:: Vampire
Personality:: James is often… Distant from the other vampires. He tends to be more cold and studious, he does run an academy so I suppose that is a given. His keen eyes rarely pass over things and it is not unusual to have his gaze on you, tearing you apart without even speaking a word. He is on the quiet side, though you can always see the gears turning in his head.
Appearance:: James isn't a really intimating looking man, he's more intimating from reputation and smarts, not his appearance. He's got dark brown hair and hollowed out cheeks, eyes are grey and almost silver. He is not the tallest, but he isn't the shortest either.
Talents:: He just has a very good memory.
Flaws:: He doesn't understand emotions well and most regard him as a sociopath due to his lack of empathy.
Outfit:: A black dress shirt tucked into black pants with his wedding ring hanging from a necklace along with his family house ring.
Weaponry/powers:: Most tellings of his powers are vague, but he is known to be a quicker vampire, that and his mind. He has a few daggers on him at all times along with a whip wrapped around his arm.
Background:: He created his house name and reputation, much to the distaste of the others who fought for theirs. James pays them no mind as they don't know exactly what he did, which was provide counsel to whoever was in the royal seat at the time.
(okay cool. I'm being lazy and using my old starter again lol)
The royal decree had come in the dead of night. A lone messenger sent to each of the noble families. The Queen is dead. The King injured but alive and full of wrath. All have been summoned to him to bring revenge on the one who would betray us all.
Cambria rode in the back of her family's Rolls, her nails clicking against the leather seats, the only sign of her distress. To be summoned to the King was exactly what she didn't need right now. She was in the middle of turbulent deals with a local crime boss over territory, but…the Queen had been a dear friend once upon a time in her youth. Cambria would go to pay her respects and see what the King meant by evoking the right of revenge. Contemplating what the occurring events may mean for her family, she stared out the heavily tinted window, wondering who else would answer the King's call.
"And the feuds begin once more." She said quietly to the outside world, for indeed, the noble families would be at each other's throats until the killer was found.
Fio was silent as he rode in the car his father had sent. He had been in the middle of carrying out a kill when the alarm came through. His father needed him. He had come home, had been given the missive. He had been sent, then, to the king. Told to cooperate and do what the king wanted, no matter what. And "don't disappoint me". He had heard the undertones in that. That he needed to stay satisfactory, couldn't be disappointing and angry.
James slipped out of his car, shutting the driver's door quietly as he got out. He had parked a few minutes walk outside the palace and didn't feel like dealing with people trying to touch his vehicle at the moment. He had gotten the message and came right here, leaving his husband in charge of the academy for the day. Probably a horrible idea. James thought with a frown, the children would be okay and hopefully, he didn't distract them too much.

Kasiya played with the dagger in his hand, sprawled out in the backseat of his parents' car. Redore, his twin—the better twin—was busy with some other business that the family desperately needed to take care of. Kas didn't know what that was, naturally, as he was never allowed to know the goings-on of his family until he was reluctantly involved. A need to know basis was their forte, and he conveniently never needed to know. Fine by him; left him more time to train and cause trouble elsewhere.
But because of his brother's absence, Kasiya was the only other one his family could spare to send to the king on their behalf, unfortunately. So here he was now, playing with his precious daggers like a child playing with a straw doll, just waiting for the shit-show that was about to go down at the castle. All representatives of the noble families will be present, all will be at everyone's throats with accusations of murder without due cause beyond petty rivalries. Kasiya wasn't very notable to anyone, so maybe he'd be spared, but his knack for troublemaking and his sketchy past-times might be known to them. If not, then his mouth would surely dig his grave.
"Someone's going to die in the near future," Kas murmured, gazing at his smirking reflection in the blade.
If there was anything Celeste hated more than war, it was politics. Unfortunately, with the latest news, at a time when her house was at war with another minor house, she was the one chosen to go the palace. She didn't understand why. She had more of a head for weapons, and fighting, not a bunch of spoiled brats arguing over who killed the Queen. Frankly, she didn't care who had. She knew that the King was ruthless, and if no one from her house came, they would be in trouble. So here she was, on her way to the palace in place of her parents, to do something she had no idea how to do.
She sighed, running a hand through her short hair. Why would someone kill the Queen in the first place? Celeste had had a decent amount of respect for the monarch, and couldn't understand why anyone would kill her, except to start a war between the houses. Not that she had any complaints about that, but still…
Quinta tapped her gold nails against the steering wheel of the car, lost in thought. Her family had chosen her to go to the palace because she was the most recent to complete her training and still needed to prove her worth. She was sure the other families would try to take advantage of her youth, but she was determined to succeed. The House of Caecilius needed to stay strong, and she was the one who could put them in power, where they belonged. She pulled down the mirror to check her reflection, sighing when she remembered the car still had a silver-backed mirror installed. What a bother. One of the few annoying things about being a vampire was the silver thing. Because of that, even though the main currency of the Romans was silver, her family had chosen gold as the symbol of their influence and power, both of which had waned over the centuries. Quinta intended to bring back the glory of the Empire to her family, and this meeting was the way to do it.
