(Can Aika see it?)
Bored & need to kill a few hours (One on one) Closed
(Yeah, when her hallucinations are real sometimes people can see them)
Aika starts when she sees the demon. It was real… She grabs the closest thing on her desk, a stapler, and throws it, smacking the demon in the head. She rushes forward, grabbing Alex. "C'mon." She hauls the other out of the room, her eyes wide. I have to be dreaming…
Alex couldn't breath. Aika had aknowledged the demon. The demon was real. It was here. She began sprinting down the hall as fast as she could manage, the demon trailing behind both of them
She looks back, grabbing the dagger under her sleeve. She hated this, but her fathers dagger would come to use. She flips the two of them around, planting her foot so she swung and Alex was behind her. Her eyes are dark and the dagger falls into her hand.
Alex cried out in shock when Aika pulled out her dagger. "Wh-What are you doing?" She cried as the demon advanced on both of them. It seemed to hesitate when it saw the dagger, but eventually kept walking.
Aika glares at the demon, "Come closer. I dare you beast." She looks back at Alex. "Father was an exorcist. I grew up with this." She shrugs and looks back at the demon, gritting her teeth. "I need you to stay back." She says, reassuringly towards Alex.
Alex was shocked, but she didn't move. The demon didn't seem to comprehend Aika's words, advancing closer and closer until it lunged at Aika. Alex screamed and pushed her hands out in front of her, and the demon began choking, thrashing violently on the floor. Alex burst into tears as it shook and growled.
Aika gasps, starting when the demon lunges. She looks at the demon as it screams and curls on the floor. She hefts the dagger and throws it, her eyes dark.
Alex looked up at Aika in fear. "Wh-What's happening? These are just hallucionations! They were only ever hallucinations!!"
"It's okay." She whispers, "Let's just run, okay? Follow me." She takes Alex's wrist and starts to run, she just had to get them to her dad's house. It wasn't far from the asylum.
"But we're not allowed to leave the asylum!" She cried, running after Aiko despite herself. She stopped when she saw another one of her recurring visions, the shadow man. (Not really). He reached out his hands towards her throat, and she screamed, violently shoving him away from her.
Aika shakes her head. "This is an emergency, love. they'll let us." She pants, running through various halls. Her eyes are narrowed. She had to get Alex away from here. It wasn't safe.
Alex shrieked and ran, following Aika through the long halls of the asylum until the finally, finally made it outside. Alex stopped, doing her best to catch her breath, but Aika pushed her on.
Aika pulled her towards a small house, it looked peaceful. She drags her forward. "Almost there, love. Almost there." She says gently.
Alex breathed deeply and pushed herself forward until they were sprinting through the doorframe of a strange old house. She'd always seen it through the window of her room and wondered what was inside. Guess she was about to find out.
Aika slams the door shut after they had entered. "DAD!" She calls. Her dad appears a few seconds later and his eyes are filled with concern. "Demon." She breathes. He nods and grabs a few things before exiting the house. She looks at Alex. "Alright. Come sit down." She mutters, walking towards the couch.
Alex sat quietly on the couch, shivering lightly. "So this is your dad's house?" She asked, needing just a hint of normality to convince her that this wasn't some strange cruel dream.
"Yes. This is my fathers house." She says gently, sitting next to the other. "Like I said, he's an exorcist. He's used to warding off demons. His home is a safe place from them." She mutters, looking around. She gently pulls Alex to her side, trying her hardest to comfort the other.
Alex nodded slowly. "Okay. Cool. Exorcists are real. Demons are real. I'm not crazy- well not entirely crazy." She put her forehead in her hands and let out a loud shriek, and then looked up at Aiko again. She was ready to find out the truth about everything, and she would be safe while it all happened. "Tell me everything."
Aika takes a breath, gently holding the other. She was quite scared herself. Aika takes a breath. "Everything… I can tell you most, but some things are kept secret by our society." She mutters. "First things first. Not only am I a psychiatrist, but I am also the heir of a society that basically trains and develops young exorcist to defeat demons. My father and mother created this society. Some people can see demons, and these are usually the people we choose."
Alex nodded. She got that. "So, I'm one of those people who can see demons, right? Does that mean all the things I see are…real?"
(Gtg, dinner)
"Some of them, yes. Some might be actual hallucination, but I'm not sure." Aika answers. She sighs and leans back. The door opens and her father enters. "Welcome home Rosie. You okay?"
Alex sunk into the couch, unsure of how to react.
"Easy there…" She says gently. She looks at her dad and nods. "That dagger came in handy." She sigh happily and smiles. "Can we get some water?" She asks gently.
Alex nodded, still too shaken for words. Did that mean they were all real? The Shadowman, the triplets, even the fucking fairies she'd seen when her neds were adjusted? How? And how had no one noticed if they were?
Her father walks into the kitchen, then returns, holding two glasses of water.
Alex carefully took one. "Thanks. Uh, I didn't get your name?"
"Maximus. I'm her father." He motions towards Aika.
